Duncan Regional Hospital Could not diagnose 2 broken ribs. Did not take lateral X-rays! Urgent Med found them 2-3 days later! Duncan Oklahoma

My husband, Christopher Burnside, was taking broad spectrum antibotics. The Keflex made him dizzy, off-balance, nausea, headaches.  He fell backward while showering and hit the toilet.  He was hollering and I finally got him to a sofa. I called an ambulance and he was taken to Duncan Regional Hospital. They took 2 x-rays and advised him he had contusions of the ribs. He was given nothing for pain. They hooked him up to a what we suspect were patches for an EKG.  The nurses were chatting and never returned.  Chris was in great pain and he left the hospital. They wanted him to stay so they could charge more money. Also, as Chris was leaving, an orderly grabbed him on the right side of his shoulder, the sides where the ribs were broken. An officer was standing there and Chris looked at him and the Officer told Chris and the Orderly, "I didn't see anything."  Duncan Regional did absolutely nothing for him. When we picked up the Medical Records, all the records reflected was how difficult he was. He used foul language, etc.  And of course, how he did not stay against their recommendation.  How long can anyone lie down with broken ribs which make it almost intolerable to breathe? The Medical Records also stated I used foul language -- that was the day after Chris' accident.  Now, if this does not reek of many problems at Duncan Regional Hospital, I assume only death might get the janitors' attention. I have Power of Attorney for Chris as he has nerve damage in his right hand and no control of his fingers due to a car accident. The Power of Attorney is properly executed and filed for record.
