I signed a lease at Country Club Garden Apartments located in Colorado Springs on September 5, 2007 on a studio apartment with a lease term of 9 months.

For the first 41 days, I actually slept at the studio around 18 - 20 times, the remainder of the time at my previous residence.  On September 15, 2007 I stopped living at the studio for good.  I continued to pay rent and common utilities (which I shouldn't have since I wasn't using any) until the end of my lease term.

At my move out, I was accused by the Property Management, named Glenna (the third manager in 9 months) of having an unauthorized pet.  I told her that was impossible since I could barely support myself let alone another critter.  She said the apartment had the smell of urine.  I met her at the apartment and I said that is not urine, it's smelled this way from day 1 and you can't even smell the smoke for the 18 - 20 days I actually resided there.  She said the apartment was filthy.  I said actually, the apartment was cleaner than when I moved in.  If she wanted filthy she should have been here on September 5, 2007.

I was presented with a bill for cleaning, carpet cleaning, and utility bills.  I said I am not paying for any utilities because I paid mine every month, even the 8 months I never lived there.  I also said that the apartment was cleaner now then when I rented it.  She pointed to a stain on the carpet.  I said yes, that was there when I moved in.  Check my move in report.

She was nasty and disgusting.  Took up a handicap parking stall everday because it was closest to the door.  She was heavy enough that she could have used an additional little walk.

I have probably been reported to the apartment association and if I ever find out I am, I will be filing suit for harrassment.
