Dunn Rite Plumbing and Heating UNPROFESSIONAL; UNETHICAL AND DECEITFUL!! Garden Grove, California

Our heating system broke down on 1/13/13. My insurance company, American Home Shield, referred me to Dunn-Rite Plumbing and Heating on 1/14/13. We made an appointment for them to come out on 1/15/13. After waiting for 5.5 hours, the company finally contacted us to inform us that they had car trouble. They finally came out on 1/16/13 and, within 15 minutes, informed us that the fan was defective and needed to be replaced. They indicated that the parts may not arrive until 1/21/13. When we called on 1/22/13, they indicated that the parts did arrive on 1/21/13 but was incorrect. They set an appointment for the installation on 1/23/13. My wife waited over 4 hours but the technician never showed up. After calling over 15 times, she received a text indicating that they had no idea where the technician but would call back. They never call back. I called them myself numerous times but only received voice mail. My calls were also not returned.

It has been 12 days since the heater broke down and we still have no heat. We have small children in the house that we are trying to keep warm at nights with small heaters. We have contacted our insurance company and awaiting their response.

We reviewed YELP.com and saw similar sentiments on this company. From reading these comments, we believe that they are committing insurance fraud by deceiving the insurance company on actual parts being repaired. This company should be investigated. Their business license should be revoked. They should not be allowed to operate anywhere.
