Duriva University LATIN AMERICAN COUNCIL FOR CYBERSECURITY AND COMPUTER FORENSIC False Advertising, Lack of professionalism, and Scamming Mexico DF Internet **Author of this Report is NOT CONFIRMED**

Duriva is a Mexican Organization that supposedly provides Computer Forensics services, as well as training in Latin America, their Director, Alejandro Jocsan Laguna Romero, is also in charge of LATIN AMERICAN COUNCIL FOR CYBERSECURITY AND COMPUTER FORENSIC, which is also a made up organization which is supposed to be based in the United States, but their address seems to be completely fake, as well as some of the telephone numbers used in their main Duriva website.

During the days of 19 to 23 of july a certification took place in the city of Santiago de Chile, it was promised that we would get a forensic toolkit, which we didn't get, it was promised we would have live demonstrations about how to recover data from hard drives, and also we didn't get that, the class was supposed to be 45 hours, but with the professor's irresponsability to provide good organization, infrastructure and even being on time to begin with the clases, we didn't get what we paid for (600 USD), we weren't prepared enough, and that ultimately led to a failre of a rushed exam.

After the end of the certification Duriva went silent for weeks, didn't answer e-mails, neither facebook or whatsapp, phone calls were impossible because their website listed numbers belonging to other businesses that weren't even related to computers or Duriva. When they finally came out of the dark they said that only 2 people made it to the certification, and the rest failed, but during the course they claimed a 98% success rate with students, but this proved the contrary. Many students including myself felt dissapointed, lied to and Ripped Off by Duriva. So we tried to get our hard earned money back. After pressing hard on Duriva for some more weeks, they finally dediced to give a "second chance" at the exam and certification, but this time students who complained and tried to get their money (ultimately denied by paypal on grounds that they don't meet expectations, despite being explicitely advertised on Duriva's website and social media), were specifically targeted and denied their appeals, their second chance and made fun off. In the end Duriva took it against students who demanded what was rightfully theirs, what we paid for, and now we're blocked from their social media, and other contact media that they may have, with no way to get answers and our money back. 

My recommendation to anyone who reads this, avoid Duriva, and their scammer practices, you're better of paying a well known organization, like for example Cisco if you want to get some good IT Certifications,  Alejandro Jocsan Laguna Romero is a SCAMMER, and leads a team of scammer and unprofessional people, in order to rip off people all across Latin America. And i really hope this makes it out to all the Search engines, so that they know their actions weren't noticed.
