Duro Corporation NXR Ranges Pro Style Ovens rust heat seals corrode in under a year City of Industry California

$3000. oven mfg by DURO Copr In City of Industry (Brand name NXR OVEN)  rusted out in 7 mos heat seals corrode in our food we have 10 yr warranty they'll replace but won't pay to install -570 chg We want 2856.88 refunded for the rusted out oven we bought on 5/1/2014 installed 5/16/2014- we have 10 year warranty. Oven is a 36" Pro Style Gas Oven, Model NXRDRGB3602, Serial# HXIHDRG2021091 we purchased at "Appliance Connection" MFG is "DuroCorp. In Jan 2015 7 mos after installation we noticed rusting & paint chipping inside the oven which got worse. Feb 2015 we contacted Durp Corp the mfg who demanded we go through their servicer Adco. On Feb 19 2015 Jerry Worsely from Adco contacted us we sent photos of our rusted out oven interior, he confirmed that our oven had "chipping & flaking porcelain" (which we since found out is a common complaint with this unit) Jerry ordered service- Authorization# 314805. On March 29 April 15 & May 29 2015 we received emails from Jerry saying the parts were back-ordered. On Aug 10 my husband emailed Jerry again saying "It's been six months now this is unacceptable. Emails were exchanged & finally 1 year later on March 21, 2016 they replaced a part(the oven floor) but the entire perimiter piece Jerry described as "the door frame" the repairman said had the wrong part for, Adco gave him the wrong part # he said he'd order it.

Months passed emails went unanswered & the "perimiter part" was still on backorder. Then in Oct 2016 the heat seal around the inner oven door started to corrode badly & desposited white likely toxic dust all over our kitchen floor & inside the oven, we likely ate this white toxic dust in our food. I sent photos to Adco they agreed to repair it, I told them when they came to install the rusted out oven perimiter that we waited for since Jan 2015. (2 YEARS) The agreed Repairman came Dec 2016 he did replace the corroded seal but said the "perimiter oven part" was wrong & Adco again gave him the wrong part. (A lie- I didn't even see any other part other than the heat seal) I followed up with Adco (Heather) who gave me a continual run around. Its now over 2 YEARS I'm waiting for our rusted out oven to be repaired. FINALLY Samantha from DURO Corp called us 10 days ago offering to replace oven but we'd have to pay again for the installation- She referred to this as WHITE GLOVE Service. I said we refuse to pay one cent-we did not choose to buy a rusted out oven whose heat seals corrode in a year's time! This is marketed as a Pro Style oven & their website sells if for approx $3500.

This oven is junk I believe it is dangerous as well (corroding probably toxic heat seal particles inside oven) She said the person who makes the decision is out of the country & she can't waive the fee for pickup & installation & to wait until he returns. Samantha called back saying the Acct Mgr Andy Cheong says we have to pay $570 for "White Glove Service". We refused! This oven should not have rusted out on us in 7 months nor should the seals have corroded - I will not pay for another installation. I want either a new 36" Pro Style oven installed OR I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED in FULL. This Offer of theirs to replace it for $570 is merely a guise which allows them to say to you (and the ic3.gov) that "We offered them a new oven but they refused" knowing that we CANNOT AFFORD to pay it -so they end up doing nothing.

This is criminal-They sold us an inferior junk oven for $2900 & falsely advertised it as a Pro Style Oven & imo it's dangerous, this is criminal- I want our money refunded. They defrauded us & likely others as similar complaints flood the internet. My husband is a disabled pastor & does not take a salary at the moment & cannot install this oven himself nor do we have the money to hire anyone. We were essentially robbed by Duro Corp.- these actions in continuing to market this hunk of rusted junk across America is criminal.
