Duro Power Sold me a Generator that was bad out of the box. Only warranty is on parts and you pay shipping.. Covina, California

Bought a generator from DuroPower. It did not work out of the box. No 110V output. Runs Fine  enginewise at this point. Called about warranty service and was told there are no factory service centers in the US. I could return it at my expense or have it repaired at my expense but they only cover Parts. You pay shipping and Labor to repair. I then took it apart  and determined that the inverte had no 120 output to the receptical. Looked at the owners manual and sent an e mail asking for the inverter assy.

Received a reply that they could not send the part without a picture to Identify which inverter it was. I sent back a reply that there was only 1 shown in the parts list. they replied they would only ship the part if I supplied a picture first. I had reassembled the unit the day I determined that it had no 110V output so I could not send a Picture. I can't believe these guys are getting away with selling this junk. Just goes back to the buy American made products theory. Meanwhile I am out 800 plus dollars. No telling how many others are as well. I have filed a report with te LA BBB as well. They have received no response from Duro Power.
