I was looking for a job and i responded to there adviretisement in the local newspaper for customer service people.well i call the number in the ad and spoke to a guy named Alexis....he speaks with a heavy latin accent and is kinda hard to understand.......

well he schedules me for an interview at 12 the next day.so i go for the interview and i get there and you have to ring a doorbell to get one of them to come out.......struck me as a little odd.so alexis comes out-now when i first talked to him on the phone i wont lie i thought he was a woman........

.so i was a little stunned for it to be a man but i thought oh well...........so he interviewed and told me he liked my attitude and wanted me to come back for a second interview and to call him at a certain time so he could tell me what time to come in..........why he couldnt tell me there i dont know.so i come back two days later for the second interview....well i get in there im greeted by a new face.......a black lady with a strong carribean accent named Sherry.she is the secretary supposedly.when i initially got in to me it had the looks of a MLM scam so i sat through itto see what it was about and sherry spoke to us first then she brought in the vice president hester hernandez to speak to us and for her to make her selections of who she wanted to keep for the training course.she asked some questions and did her thing and one by one sent people out or kept them in the room.well she sent me out to with the secretary with 3 others.....i thought this was the typical thanks but no thanks your not who were looking for kind of thing and it started out that way but then she changes her tune and says you all are invited back be back here at 9 am monday.now we were told this would be a management training program where we would be trained to learn how to manage an office of 15-20 salespeople

.we get into class monday and hester is there to greet us and she is our trainer too-since when does a vice president who makes 190,000 dollars in a year more than some of us make in 3 or 4 years doing training people-most major companies like this one claims it is have a training and development department and it usually isnt the vice president well that raised a major red flag with me.i know sometimes the upper level management likes to see the new people in there training and development but man this takes it to a new level.well i went through the first day........it ended about 12 noon.....the reason for that was so we could sell some of there merchandise to learn what the salespeople go through.so they give us a list and tell us go up to people and sell perfume and cologne.......

.the give us two sprays on paper of perfume and cologne and expect that to last all day long come one now we all know they wear off after 10 hours at the absolute most and the didnt give us any bottled samples so to me they doomed us from the start.they expect to walk up to people and sell products off of a list and to sell to all your family and friends.well im new to the vegas area and i know 5 people in this town.i asked all of them and none of them had any money to buy anything so i was s**t out of luck there.

hester told me to call her at 5:30 pm well i hadnt sold anything i saw no point to calling her but i went back because i wasnt going to let it get to me.so i come back the next morning and there is hester in her usual cheery form at 8:30 am-how the hell someone is so happy that early in the morning makes me wonder personally what she did the night before and how much she did.so the next day the bring in diane, eric and willy people who have went through the training already and supposedly are experts in sales and are going to teach us a few things about selling...........this is a management training program why the hell are they putting so much emphasis on selling......i could care less myself thats the salespeoples job.so we go through some more class room training and then at 12 noon or so they break us into groups and send us off with a certain "sales expert"to go out and see how the sales thing is done.well me and one other guy get sent out with willy who couldnt sell ice to a d**n eskimo if his life depended on it.we went first to the las vegas strip anyone from vegas will know you get bombarded with people selling s**t on the strip all the time so most of the time you tend to ignore them.well we were sent out with a box of scents and willy and told to sell the bottles for 25 dollars....

.we were told to approach people with some lame approach asking them what there favorite scents were and all this s**t.after an hour of being told no and getting some weird looks from people for 3 guys on the street selling scents and willy always approaching guys was also not working in our favor.so we break for lunch and then on to walmart.........more rejection woohoo.me and the other guy went into walmart and hung out in there............i personally have never felt like such an idiot for falling for this and believing this bullshit.standing outside in a walmart parking lot selling perfume how low can you get.......i was doing it for my kids.....trying to make a better oppurtunity for them that is what kept me going.if it wasnt for that i dont know what i would have done.well we get back to the office and have a brief little meeting before were off for the the day well i decided right then and there im not coming back to this bullshit two days is enough.i didnt come back the next day and i now have a real job which i just got that i can speak highly of.i also too walked away from DVA when i found out were not getting paid for there training.........

i have kids as i mentioned and they have to eat too there young they cant fend for themselves.so if your looking for a job in vegas stay away from DVA and those vultures Hester Hernandez,Alexis Hernandez,Sherry the secretary,Diane,Eric and retard Willy.there nothing more than a slick MLM scam they butter you up with there false promises of being a manager, how there a million dollar industry, they will show you videos from the 1980's about how there product is so successful.....shows you how long this scam has been going on and god knows how many hardworking folks they have lied to since then.just wait for a better job with a reputable company even if its less pay you will thank yourself in the long run.sorry for being so longwinded i just dont want to see anyone get taken advantage of in the day and age.
