Dwight Carpenter is A thief, and he knows it. I called Dwight Carpenters Law office March 2012, discussed my situation with him and was told it would be 1200.00. I immediately mailed Dwight Carpenter A check. The Arraignment was the first week of April2012 [ for what was Very minor] Dwight Carpenter NEVER even showed up at the arraignment, after discussing the situation with him by phone, Dwight carpenter informed me, that I should just plead guilty????? for 1200.00???? Not satisfied with him or his reasoning I RETAINED A better Attorney[ who fired Dwight Carpenter on my behalf] And got all charges dismissed and ultimately got all of my problems "to go away". I never had any retainer agreement with Dwight Carpenter in fact no agreement at all! the real fact of the matter is I never have even met this character. I would not know him if I saw him. Bottom line is, this guy took my money, did not show up for any court dates, did not provide adequate representation, talked on the phone for a little bit, ended up being fired by my new attorney, who knew of him and advised me to get rid of him. and this guy REFUSES to return any of my money that he did nothing to earn. If he did this to me, he will do it to anybody.

I know where Dwight office is..I've been there. Fish swam in the water. It's been 10 years since I used him. I am sorry for your loss.

You must be talking about some other Dwight Carpenter he steals from everybody, He has a dump office Outside of Clare towards farwell Office by the water? The only water around there would be A Ditch. I am glad that he helped you. But He Ripped Me Off. He will get his, every Attorney shakes their head talking about the little wanna be!

My late husband and I both had Dwight Carpenter for our attorney. When we first called him, he went
over my husband case. He told us how much it would be and to set an appointment when we would
have the money, before any court proceedings started. We went to his office by the water, and went
over his case again, and paid him. He showed for every date.
Same as the first I called him set appointment to pay him. In fact he helped me more, because of him
caring for me I have been sober for over 10 years now!!!!
Now if your stupid enough to send $1200. to someone you don't know what they look like let alone
never meet, I'll give you myaddress!!! Your lawyer didn't have to fire Carpenter if he never filled
With the courts as being your attorney, he never was. So if your new lawyer charged you, he is a thief
