Dwolla closed our companies account after some Libelious Claims about us appeared on google search.

We had been with Dwolla for years and never used them to receive payments, only pay workers.

We proved to them beyond a doubt that the claims were libelious, yet they still closed our account.

Hopefully this rip off report will serve as their own medicine.

As part of being a responsible member of the financial industry, Dwolla has a duty to review all parties conducting transactions, in order to insure the safety and soundness of the network.

This can be a difficult balance to strike as there are two sides to every transaction, who may hold different viewpoints.  However, Dwolla follows industry standards in regards to potentially negative activity, and in some instances may close accounts after reviewing public records.  This includes reviews of the BBB and RipOff Report websites ourselves.

In this instance, unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to cease doing business with this client. Please note in our TOS you agreed upon it states:

You understand and agree that We are authorized to take the following actions due to User misconduct or security concerns as detailed in this section:  Place a Hold on Your User Account for Up to 90 days: Temporarily or Permanently Suspend or otherwise Limit Your Access to Your User Account:
