Dylan installed my upstair floor and was suppose to come back to install my stairs. Dylan wait until the day of my appointment to tell me he was send a rep from a different company to finish the stairs. On top of that the rep that showed up stated that the Dylan Jakeway didn’t tell him the correct project so he need to call Dylan back to go over the details. The rep came back stating Dylan would come to finish the job and just left. After the rep packed up and left I called Dylan to go over what the issue was and he proceed to make the issue seem as if it was my fault because I didn’t want pay more. Although the rep never communicated with me and Dylan had already given a set price I didn’t feel that was fair just because Dylan Jakeway wasn’t completing the job that I should have to cover the difference when the appointment had been set for a week. Dylan has an issue with communication and is not well at managing time because he overbooks. This issue could have been solved fairly easily and I was willing to work with Dylan but he got really aggressive making this issue seem as if I was the cause.

Yes, you brought me back my padding because it was part of what I paid for. So, thank you for bring me back my padding. But you also knew that you were coming back to finish my stairs. You actually started to taking the carpet off my top stair. Not to mention I called you a week before you were to come out and confirmed you could make it. You knowingly setup my appointment knowing you had another job. Then the day before the appointment I called you again and you confirm again that you will be there. It was not until the morning off the appointment you tell me there is someone else coming out from your company. So once the other installer shows up turns out he’s not from your company and he immediately stated "this isn’t what Dylan explained to me. I didn’t know there was upholstery. Let me call Dylan”. He walks off to his car for about 15 mins comes back starts packing up and states "Dylan is going to come finish it” and he leaves. I would have easily paid the $140. You just don’t understand how to communicate and when I called you to try to figure out what was going on you immediately took everything out on me.

To start out the stairs were never in the bid when i started this job. I completed the original bidded work 2 months ago and actually helped demo their bathroom for free. 2 months later Marcus called and wanted the stairs done. My usual price for custom wratp stairs is 10 per stair. It had been 2 months since i had been there so i assumed there were 12 stairs. My installer goes there to do the work for Marcus but calls me and says there are 14 stairs . So it will be 140. Pretty reasonable. Marcus refused to pay over 125 so my installer left. Marcus fails to mention that when he did find another installer to do the stairs I brought him over a free roll of pad and he threatened to kill me on murderous occasions.
