Dynamic Recovery Humiliating, belittling, aggravating, said I owe them random $ but wouldn't send info Greenville South Carolina

 I had a strange phone number call me from Idaho, this man left a msge & said call us immediately. I called the 866.625.1535 number he left to understand why they were calling. i got on the phone with the rudest condescending man. He said I owe Columbia house $137.20. I asked him when this debt was incurred since I don't ever remember having a Columbia house account. He told me he would NOT tell me when it was incurred. I told him my financial advisor wants me to have everything in writing & Id like to know When this happened. He told me they've sent me hundreds of notices & I habe refused to pay on all notices! I explained I have never received any info on this debt & why can't you send it to me so I can better understand whats happened? He said oh e understood I'm a person who does not pay my billthey've run out of chances! He said he will report this to my credit report as refusal to pay! I said I'm not refusing I just need more information! He hung up on This I know this is a scam, because I never had an account with Columbia house, I believe they just wanted to get ahold of my credit card. The original # that called me was 208-908-7862, the number I called was 866-625-8973 & the number they have on their website is 866-996-1535. how can I prevent these fraudulent companies from reporting things on my credit report when they won't explain anything to me? Is there laws against this? Thank you for your time
