Ok, here's how to get your money back. Firstly, it is highly illegal for them to give your bank info to any of their affiliates. So, each and everyone of you can get your $99 back. Call Hartford Auto Club @ 866 888 9157. They will refund your money. It takes about 6 weeks & keep on them, but I did receive my check in the mail. Now, for the weasels, the packet they send out clearly states that you can try to get a refund within 30 days of receiving your packet. This is a little difficult when the stupid number they give you never & I repeat never will have a live voice to assist you. Call them at 866-793-6835. You will get some little guy at the bottom that will tell you that there is not much they can do for you. Do not take this advise. Ask for a supervisor. I ended up with the supervisors, supervisors boss. Keep going straight to the top. The gentleman that I finally spoke with was nice, but didn't get me the answer I wanted. So... call your bank & advise them this company misrepresented itself, gave your bank information to their affiliate companies (highly illegal) & are deducting $14.95 out of your account each month. At anytime any of these illegal withdrawls have been made from your account and caused you to bounce a check your bank should be able to reverse the charges on all the checks that were affected by their illegal actions. I fully intend on riding this one out until this company ceases to exist. I was a customer service supervisor for a very long time in a highly stressful industry & believe you me... the customer is always right! Please be firm with these people, they stole your money, misrepresented what they were really about, & basically like I said before... they are weasels.
