E-Pro Auction was offering a FREE Ebay Success Kit for the price of mailing, $4.55. The first name I saw on my credit card bill was Surplus Alert. Later, when the kit arrived, it was packaged in a folder with "SurplusAlert.com" on the front. Inside were five glossy sheets, mostly of instructions (open a Paypal account, review the enclosed Tax Tips, find a good accountant who can help you set up your business). There was also a CD which is entitled "SurplusAlert.com auction success kit".

In the welcome to your 14-day trial letter, it was E-Pro Auction Premier who said they were excited that I had taken advantage of the Ebay Success Kit, which included the "newest and easiest software used on eBay today".

By now I'm pretty confused. There was no mention of Surplus Alert in the E-Pro Auction free trial but they were the ones who sent out the material and gave me a $5 gift certificate toward my first shopping trip at their warehouse.

I had no plan to become an e-Bay seller and all the talk of accountants and lawyers and keeping enough money to pay the taxes made me even less interested. So I carefully cancelled my free trial on the 12th day.

As time went on, my credit card was full of E-Pro Auction entries. Small bills building up: $1.95, $2.95, $49.95, then another $49.95, then "Auction Success" with a UT phone for $5.25, and most recently Auction Kit for $49.95 and IWS*I Pro Auction for $49.95. If my math is correct, that totals $209.95!!

I haven't placed any orders, I haven't asked for any help, but I guess they get their $50 a month no matter what.

Another Rip-off Report on E-Pro Auction mentioned MServe LLC, who provides "Customer Service" for E-Pro Auction. That set up hasn't changed. And their dispositions haven't gotten any sweeter from the last Rip-off Report until this one. There is no doing business with these people. They are right, they accept your resignation, and they keep right on stealing your money out of your account.

I have had no luck attempting to get this settled with a refund for me. Therefore, I am turning it over to my credit card company. They have been great!! Did you know that credit card companies have "Fraud Departments" now due to the rise in this unethical and immoral behavior? I just want my money back . . .
