This a very dishonest company! Please be very careful and run away from them if you still got time!!
I was contacted by the school right after putting my information on their website, because I was interested on learning Hebrew in order to be able to read the Bible in its original language.
They called me right away, I spoke with a salesperson called Glantz Netanel and he was the one that sold the course to me.
During the call, he did not address any polices of the contract and we barely talked about it because once I mentioned about cancelation, he alredy spoke right away that I could cancel the course at any time with no problems, so, after hearing this, I trusted the information and didn't ask any more questions about it.
- By the way, later on this case, I was contacted again by another representative that was trying to sell me their course (he wasn't aware of my situation with the school, and He himself reaffirmed to me that students could cancel the course at anytime with no problem! His name is Serruya Alan, I have the emails he sent on the day he called me: September 23, 2016, so, the company better not delete this conversation because there is one huge proof of that their salespeople are willing to do anything in order to sell.
So, after I spoke with Netanel, I choose the days of my classes, and the time. I was told I was going to need to wait about a month for my classes to start. I was ok with that. At that moment, I wasn't aware that their cancelation policy was giving me only 5 days whithin my registration that I could receive the total payment of my tuition (which is $ 1279.00) in full. That means, without even having my first class, without even making sure I like their style of teaching. I didn't know that, I wasn't told that, and I certainly haven't signed any contract with them that approved that.
Anyways, time goes by... they had already charged me $230 dollars for the initiation fee, then $149 for the first payment, before school even started and my card was already being charged for the next month when I finally took my first Hebrew class, after having to change the time schedule misteriously by the way, they called me and said they needed to change the time because they didn't have the time I choose any longer availabe?
Weird, that should have been a red flag for me, but again...I was being innocent, thinking: Awwww Israelites, God's chosen people! I was going with the love I have for these nation and choosing to accept that people make mistakes. Little did I know that darkness was slowly surrounding this matter.
So, finally after more than a month (btw) here I go and take my first Hebrew class and.... well... terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible teaching. 55min of class which I did not learn absolutely nothing. I got verey worried about it, then after the class I started researching some other Hebrew teachings because I wanted to make sure if that was such a hard language or if they are just not really good on teaching. Well... after watching a 5 minutes video on Youtube, I realized that I've learned so much and way more than what I tried to learn in 55min.
So, without hesitating, I contact the school and ask them more information regarding canceling the course. I said I wasn't sure about it because I wasn't given enough information, but I do remember their representative saying that I could cancel at any time. Maybe I should have been more confident on that affirmation instead of giving them the benefit of my doubt. Anyways... I get no answer from them. On the next day I call customer service. Terrible service. Never gave me any information, and said that they do not have a financial support phone number, that there is nothing they can do, that in order to speak with them I needed to wait around 72 hours, she said she would forward the contract to me again so I could double check the info, if I would like the finance to call me, I should call them back and make a requirement, I said: - Well, then even before reading this contract, which I didn't even know it had been sent to me before, please already make this requirement because I want them to call me ASAP.
I receive the forward message in my email. Then I find out that Netanel has sent me the contract alltogether with my receit of the payment for the course. Which I remember getting but I wasn't aware that the contract information would be there, since it was on the bottom of the page. I open the contract information this is what I find:
Students who (pre) terminate their participation in a course are entitled to a partial refund of the overall tuition for that course as per the following stipulations:
Up to 5 days from the date of your registration you may receive a full refund. | |

I call back customer serveice, they say they can't do anything to me and not even open an emergency case. that they could not let me speak with a manager etc etc etc... I said it was an emergency and according to a contract I was seeing for the very first time it looks like timing is pretty much important in order to get my money back. Again, there is nothing we can do, you must wait. I asked to speak with a manager, and again, nothing.
So, I hang up. Call my credit card company, told everything that happened and blocked my card, and I asked for a dispute investigation on this matter. I was told I needed to wait up to 60 days for this investigation to be done and to have an answer, and so I did.
Later on that week, I was very frustrated that I hadn't heard from eteacher financial area, and I 'pretended' I was another person, and interested on taking their classes, so I put on my name with another last name on their website (I have 2 last names) and gave them a different email, same phone number though. Again, on the very same day almost on the very moment I am contacted by their salesperson, and guess who it was?? Netanel again! Yay!! :D So, I was going to trick him, but I am trying to obey God and according to God's law we should not lie.. so.. I said the truth to Netanel (that I just wanted to reach the financial area) and he quicly were able to recognize my voice. So, I explained everything to him and on that call he told me another thing, he said he did mention that I could cancel but whithin 5 days of the registration fee. I said that I could not recall that and that I really needed to be able to reach the financial area, and Netanel did a good job and got someone to contact me within one hour from that call.
After around one hour, a man called Sanders Ian contacted me. Very friendly and 'willing' to help me.
I thought he was going to help me to cancel the whole thing and get my money back. I shared with him all the frustration I was going through with the school, the wrong informations, the worst customer service, the bad teaching of the class etc etc, that I was truly unhappy with it all and I wasn't interested on making any kind of business with them any longer. Sanders Ian insisted that I should try again, that they would give me private classes for the same price, that I shoudl try one private class for only $50 (LOL) later on he took that price off and gave it for free. But anyways, I said: - I've had the most stressful week of the year because of your company. I have no interested on having any relationship with you guys anymore, if you really want to help me, then what I need is that this course to be canceled and all my money back. I am zero satisfied with your services in all areas, I haven't signed ny contract, please just refund me and let me go.
He said that he could not help me with that. I asked how come they provide us a contract only after we've made the purchase and not before and getting our signature or concentment? His answer? That is the way our company works, that is just our policy.
I said, whatever, take all the money you want, I don't want to have to deal with you guys, cancel this thing. He said that in order to cancel, they would have to charge me a fee of $771 (LOL) which I understood it would be taken from my credit card but not at once, but because of the contract info I thought because I was cancelling whithin 10 days of the first lesson that is what it was going to be charged on my card from that date on, I mean, it doesn't make sense, what if someone is canceling because they don't have more money? Then they have to magicaly make $771 just for a cancelation? Better off to stay the way it is! He insisted (giving himself a deep breath - like if I couldn't hear the fakness of his concern) and said: - Are you sure you want to do this Talita? I said yes.. then He tried to charge all that ammount at once on my credit card, and thank God I had cancelled it before because he wasn't able to do it.
I could hear the tone of his voice changing on the phone, very, very concerned, He said: It didn't go through. Do you have another card? I was like: Are you crazy? LOL I am not giving you another card... I know what happened, I've canceled the credit card btw and forgot to tell you that they are investigating your company now, and hopefully they will get my money back, since you were not able to help me. All he said after this was: Ok, and remember Talita, if you change your mind abou the private classes, I will be here to assist you. You can contact me at any time.
I said thank you and hang up.
Also, before I forget, since I wasn't able to contact them via phone before, most of the talking were done by their student website: eteachergroup.com because that is the only way we can connect to them regarding any problems, we must open up a 'ticket'. So, When I first called them since I had no answer about my concern on cancelling the course, they customer representative: Gandolfo Seomara told me that, that wasn't really my first class and that I shoud wait until my first class would start and then make sure I really don't like it and then cancel... Again, wrong information I knew it was the first class, I got emails reminding me about my first class, the teacher asked us to present ourselves because it was the first class, no matter what I said to her, she insisted that I would WAIT. That was when I said, just resend the contract please and open up the requirement for the financial to contact me as soon as possible.
So.. I contacted my credit card company yesterday and they said that the dispute was over and in my favor, that I would get all the money I had already invested back. I was happy and didn't even was going to bother coming to ripoff and reporting this problem, until... well, until few hours ago.
Sanders Ian had the guts to send to me the following email today:

FINAL REMINDER?
Excuse me? Final reminder? What does he mean? I've never even heard that I had a due date for the cancelation fee! I was told I could call them if I changed my mind and now this?
Threatening to sue me?
And by the way, NOW there are not only one but TWO phone numbers to call them!
=) Awww how sweet!
I needed to call my credit card company again, make sure the dispute was indeed in my favor and that if I needed to worry about all of this nonsense. They told me I was granted the refund and that I can sit back and relax.
I can only do that now if before I warn others of what these people can do just to make money! This is so crazy and I think it is almost a unfair way of treating Christians that are trying to take God's word seriously and in a more intimate way (learning Hebrew) and these people come and take advantage of our hearts and specially our love for the people of Israel. After this experience I can understand why God reaffirms so many times that His people (the nation of Israel) do not fear Him, and sin against Him all the time.
Also, since I don't understand much about legal issues, if I could get some help in case they are really going to try and sue me, I would like to know how to get prepared, although I am sure that was just a final 'scary' trick to try and get money out of me.
Also, I did answer Sanders Ian, that is what I wrote:
Is this some sort of joke?
I've never been so stressed out in my life because of a service. I even had my health compromised after that whole week of trying to reach this people and when I finally think it is all over, here we go again.
Please people, stay away from this company. They can't honor their own words.

Unprepared Salespeople - Lies about the contract Policies - I remember everything now!
AUTHOR: - ()
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, October 12, 2016
I would like to register something else that I forgot to mention on my first report.
Netanel, the salesperson which sold the Hebrew course to me, wasn't only unprepared about the contract policies, he also didn't know about the own products he was selling. I say this because, I initially was interested on learning Aramaic and not Hebrew, since Jesus spoke my name in Aramaic in one of the New testament passages: Mark 5:41.
During our conversation, Netanel told me that I should learn Hebrew first and then lear Aramaic, because that would make esier for me to learn Aramaic. During this talk, he was telling me that the New testament was written in Aramaic and the Old testament in Hebrew.
He even put me on hold to double check which language I should learn first to make it easier. Anyways, the point is, few days later I found out that the New testament is not in Aramaic but in Greek! LOL. Yeah, there are few statements written in Aramaic but not the entire book.
I mean... Anyways, I thought that maybe Netanel was still a new employee and I didn't call them back to make a big deal out of it, I have't paid for Aramaic classes anyways. Back in that time I didn't realize that this was in fact a huge Red Flag.
The other reason why I am bringing up the Aramaic information, it is because I remember clearly now when it was that I heard the affirmation: "- You can cancel our course at any time."
Netanel, after selling me the Hebrew course, he tried to offer me Aramaic classes, that I would start taking after finishing the Hebrew, but he said that I should buy them right now for such a great discount! And boy, that discount seemed so good, and I almost fell for it, I just really didn't have any more money to compromise, and as I was explaining my situation, he said: "- Well, you can cancel our course at any time."
I am just so thankful to God that I really didn't have the money, and I rejected that offer, because clearly his information wasn't complete. Yes I can cancel at any time, except that I will have to PAY for it! LOL, which it doesn't make any sense to me, I am sorry.
So, a lot is going on in my mind, since he said: You can cancel "our courses" or our "course" at any time, so I am thinking: Well, lets say I will pay for the Aramaic classes as well, which will start a year from now. Let's say after taking 5 months of Hebrew, I have a financial problem which won't allow me to continue with the course, well, since Netanel said I could cancel at any time, I can just cancel and not take more classes and therefore not pay for them, and obviously the money I've already spent with the classes I've taken, I will never see again, because that would be only fair. Now, let's say that even though I've already paid for some of the Aramaic classes I didn't even start taking yet, I could just cancel because I am now having financial issues and get my money back! Just has Netanel told me over the phone!
This is everything that went through my mind, but still I didn't accept the offer for the Aramaic classes and just chose the Hebrew one.
Well, according to Netanel, that offer I would only be able to get, if I would sign up for that right on spot, and they couldn't guarantee the same offer in the future. But again, I could cancel at any time?
What I just realized when wirtting everything down is that.: Again, eteacher makes no sense! How come you try and sell a supposed 'discount' which will be only valid if you take it right now, but then you can cancel it after a year???
I am just so happy I remember everything more clearly now, and that these threats will continue to have absolutely no effect on me.
Not to forget to mention that after I tried to sign up for the classes online again, so I could get someone to call me, then I got Netanel again... So... That was how I could get Ian Sanders to finally reach me over the phone. So, what happened was, that looks like my other email got registered in their system and this other salesperson called: Serruya Alan, not knowing my situation, and I thought he knew it, He calls me and offers me a super discount with the Hebrew classes etc, I thought he was just trying to be like Ian Sanders when offering me private classes, but the guys had no clue of my situation with the school, and seeing that I wouldn't take the discount at all, he said about 2 times: "- A student might want to cancel the course right? And this is normal, it is ok, students can cancel at any time. "
At that time I got very confused. Is he saying I could cancel that offer? What is he talking about? I said, listen I don't trust you guys, and I explained a little bit of what happened and then he realized that I was already a student. Crazy, just everything is so crazy!
But just realize people, that, not matter what, they will rip you off!

More dishonest threats! Lies about not reaching me through the phone
AUTHOR: - ()
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, October 12, 2016
First, I would like to talk about their lies on trying to reach me through the phone, and I can for sure say that they are lying since I am not the only one that they did that, since I can read the same thing on other people's reports here.
I will attach an e-mail that was sent to me on September, on the very week I was trying to cancel my course ASAP, and they lied and said that they called me and I didn't answer, which I did not receive any calls at that moment.
Again, I got another e-mail with the same issue but this time it was this month and unfortunately I can't say for sure if they really tried to contact me because I had to change my phone number, so they might have tried for real this time, since the situation is getting pretty serious, or they were just lying again, anywyas, I am just happy I don't have that old number anymore because I just can't trust these people to even talk to them over the phone, I would be stupid if I would contiue talking to them over the phone, everything now will be just written, but honestly, I am not even bothering to respond them even through the email, since all that they can do is to threat me all the time.
Now, Ian Sanders is still trying to back me off from canceling with my credit card and returning the money I have already invested with them, with dishonest threats and lies, which I don't believe anymore.
I won't contact them again, I don't want anything to do with these people!
