E470 Express Toll Road Taxation by confusion Aurora Colorado

 Moving cross country late at night, I changed lanes at the last minute due to a sign for Colorado Springs. Once on the route, I realized I was on a toll road but had no idea how much it would eventually cost me ($16!). Here's an idea: put up signs with estimated fees to certain locations, so travelers will know to turn around, save the $, and take the Interstate direct thru town,which, late as we were, would have been faster than E470. Also, put signs that indicate 100% photo based billing. It's one thing to pay a toll you might have avoided, it's another for the E470 rate, and even worse to get the bill too late to claim it when you could have been reimbursed. Glad I don't live in the Denver area!
