On 8/21/11, I signed a contract with a local carport company for a 12' X 26' carport with 5' x 12'storage room.Total bill was $2576.89.I was told the building would be scheduled by Sept 15th. It was not installed until Oct 3rd, and they were 2 hrs late. HI had to call Eagle customer service 3 times and got the run around. The crew that arrived were totally unprofessional, demanding drinks after 15 mins of work. They showed lack of respect for me as the home owner and each time I asked a question, I got brushed off with, "it is gonna to work." Before they completed the job, they demanded final payment in a cashiers check. I contacted the Eagle's customer service again and was told that I need to pay now as the office closes at 5:00.Unfortunately, I was tired and ready to be rid of these people. I should have looked closer to the workmanship.

The door has screws in the top part but they do not connect to anything, tin on eaves is cut short and twisted, they put the post too far out and when I tried to pull my car in, I scrapped the fence. I cannot even get under the carport. The underneath trim is warped and there is issues with the trim on the roof. I have been in contact with the original sales rep at Mabank Carports, and with Sara, the customer service rep for Eagle, over the last 5 weeks and continually get a different story from each person. I have explained the issues over and over again and sent pictures to everyone. Finally, I contacted the BBB in my state and they have even tired to reach Mr. Amos and it took several tries. Eventually, Sara called and I was told they would send a contractor out to review the issues before they sent a new crew.

Last week, I got a call from Eagle customer service advising they were sending a crew out. on Nov.22. I asked if there was a contractor coming to review the issues and make certain the crew had what they needed to do the work. The lady told me it was not necessary that the crew would have everything to get it repaired. Just to be on the safe side, I sent the list of items to customer service to make certain we were all on the same page. Today, Nov22, they sent a crew out.The most important items (such as the twisted metal on eaves and moving the posts so I could get into the carport) could not be fixed as they did not have the necessary stuff to do it. I spoke with Javier at Eagle and he could care less that I get my carport fixed or not. At this point, I feel that I will have to go to small claims court to get any resolution. Please avoid this company and any other company that subcontracts to Eagle Carports. It is not worht the headaches.
