Eagle Hoimes LLC Negligent, Uncaring, Dishonest and Irresponsible Builder Antioch Illinois

We bought a new construction home from this builder as did about 15 other families. Well the builder went bankrupt and refuses to follew through on any warranty work so there are houses with standing water in their leaky basements, houses which are on incorect property lines, mold issues, uncompleted grading and landscaping issues and other willful disregard for warrantied issues.

Secondly the builder has abandoned the project b/c they are bankrupt, when I talked to one of the owners on the phone about them being bankrupt he flat out lied to me on the phone about it and said it was just a bad rumor (it wasn't and he had been in court proceedings just 3 days proior to our phone conversation).

The infrastructure for the community is incomplete, landscaping work was never completed and weeds are grown over our heads. The builder did not dedicate the subdivion to the city yet so the cities hands are tied when it comes to landscaping, mowing etc., the builder is declaring bankruptcy on this project so suing is kind of moot, we have no rights as a homeowners association b/c there are not enough houses built yet to have it turned over.

Worst of all b/c there are a LLC they are just walking away from the project and trying to start another subdivision in the state and it looks like they just may. So please do yourselves a favor and do not purchase anything from this builder before checking out what they have done to the residents of Stonebridge Crossing in Colona, IL!!!
