I can't tell you strongly enough not to buy from Eagle Ridge GM in Coquitlam.

Since we bought the car, we have had next to no customer service. Here are some of the comments that have been made, after the "we're so great at giving you a genuine sales experience" spiel.

The worst was when we asked for a copy of the quote that showed we would receive additional items from the dealership. This had been scrubbed out after we'd left to think about it so when we returned, we asked for it to be put back in, which it was.
Upon our return to receive these goods, we were told that we were no longer entitled to the items because the sales rep had left and Eagle Ridge had no responsibility to hold up their end of the deal - even though it was in writing. When we asked for a copy of the document, they brought out a photocopy of the scrubbed out form - not the one that we had signed.
When I asked to see the original we were told:
"I don't have to show you the original. If you want to see it, hire yourself a lawyer".

When I asked who was above this "customer service manager", I was told "The only one above me is an old man that lives in an old peoples home in Alberta."

When told we'd tell everyone we knew about our awful experience, "We sell over 600 cars a month. Go ahead and complain".

This is a copy of the e-mail we sent to GM:

I want to write to you about the disgusting lack of customer service that we received at your Eagle Ridge yard.

We have not received return calls to the multiple requests that we have made, we were not provided with the consumer reports about the Vibe that we purchased even though we made countless requests.

We have been to this office four times trying to get an additional key cut - we have been requesting this for over a month now - all time taken out of my vacation time.

Amongst the generally bad service, we were told by one sales person that "I don't remember who you are. Yours is one of a hundred cars between last week and now." This is a completely unacceptable response when we have spent over $25,000 here.

We will never buy from this yard again. EVER. We have told and will continue to tell everyone we speak to about the 'service' that we received.

We were also told that we would get a 'comment form' in the mail but I am guessing this is reserved for those with positive comments only.

Their response ?

Thank you for your e-mail.

We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction.

Followed by a request to call them if we wanted to discuss it further but no offer to actually do anything about it. So, I sent another e-mail asking them to take action and have received no communication from them.
