I hate doing this but please do not ever consider these people. We had a BMW that overheated and had a blown head gasket. I sent my girlfreind with her brother to this guy because I heard he worked on BMW's and cant beleive any one told me that. My girlfreind talked to the Manager Joe. She told him that it overheated and that it was either a blown head gasket or cracked head. All he needed to do was Quote the job either for the Cracked head or Blown gasket. Some way he persuaded her to sign a work order giving him permission to start a diagnosis for what ever reason. He never gave her a copy of it and led her to believe it would be about $200 to get a specific diagnoses as though he was doing her a real big favor and if they got the head off and could not see any damage that would be all they needed to do but if it was questionable it might have to be checked at a machine shop.

A couple weeks later they are calling saying the motor is cracked and the cost to replace with a used motor would be $5600. So we said No! Thats way too much. So they tell us the bill is $600.and pick up the car. $600 to tell us that the motor was bad which turned out to be a total lie. The manager Joe admitted to me earlier that day he pulled the dip stick and seen it had water and oil mixed together which means he clearly knew what was wrong and did not need to go to all the extreme to dismantle the motor in the first place. We go down to try to get the bill lower and the owner became very angry and told us to pay or get out. So we tell him to put it back together and he said hell No! I ask how does he diagnose it by tearing it apart then not reassemble it for a whopping $600. which means its $1200 to diagnose it if you put it back together?

He said that was just the labor to look at it. Any reputable mechanic shop would only need to look at the oil and tell you it needs the gasket and its X amount of dollars to fix. He tore it apart knowing it was un necessary and did it to force us into paying him whether we let him do it or not, we had to to get our car back. So we pay, go to pick the car up expecting only the head to be removed and this what made me real mad! He had this completely diassembled way beyond what it would take to do a simple head diagnostic, the cams, valves, valve springs, lifters were tore out of the head, radiater out, air conditioner cooling fan, water pump off , exhaust in several peices, boxes full of lifters and bolts, air conditioner pump off, altenater off and too many other things to list that had nothing to do with diagnosing the head.

So that he could totally control us and minipulate us to have to use him, he absolutely knew that no mechanic could possibly work on that puzzle and refused to put it back together for any price to get the $5600. It would take hours and hours just to find the parts to make one part just to be able to put it together with other parts, I mean it was in hundreds of peices ,nuts and bolts in boxes, I have  pictures to prove it was what I am saying here. They seen a woman walk in and took advantagee of her so if you are a woman RUN! If you are a man RUN! Please Please do not use these people. What they did was so unnecessary!! I am sure they will come back with a good story but it wont change what happened!! We could not find any one to work on it which forced us to buy another motor, so far what could have been a real $1200 to fix has cost us with his fees, wreckers, another motor and a real mechanic $3100.

No reason to lie

Adding this to their response, they became the Victim, they got their money! I wrote this to protect you the customer from these people! No reason to tell a Lie! That junk about someone threatening them is a big made up FAT Lie!! That shows how little integrity they have.

No one threatened them, we were very soft spoken and tried to reason with him and when we went to discuss the matter of the $600, the owner became irate and threatened us which is true and never did anyone say anything about ruining their reputation with these factual comments as a vendetta that was a surprise to Eagle, I am telling a fact, which is the truth!

Good come back Eagle with your weak excuse lie, you are the Victim since we did not pay and got our car back free, right!  No way any tried to scam you, if we were trying to scam you we would have sued you for negligence and deceptive trade, we took our loss and moved but do think people should know about you!

What a joke! We just thought it would be nice to give you $600 for our car delivered back in boxes without being repaired which I have pictures of to prove it. At least we sleep at night knowing we told the truth. They have a good reputation with BBB? We never contacted the better business bureau, forgot about them but thank you Eagle for the idea. DO NOT BELEIVE THEM OR USE THEM it is your choice but they do not deserve any business.

This is in response to the filing by Mr. Eddie.  What this person does not mention is that the vehicle in question (BMW) was towed in with the engine already partially dismantled.  A female contacted our facility and inquired about Eagle performing a diagnosis on their vehicle.  We explained to this person (female) that because of the condition of the vehicle (partially dismantled) that we would not be able to determined the cause of engine failure until the engine heads were removed and magnifluxed.  The customer (female) was explained in great detail the work that was involved and told that the labor for the dismantling was $600.00.  The customer was told this in person and she signed a work order approving this initial diagnosis.  She was also told that the $600.00 would go toward what ever repair would be necessary.  After this process was complete Eagle contacted the customer and explained to them that the heads and engine block were damaged (probable exreme overheating).  We invited the customer to the facility to show her the extent of the damage.  At this point the female customer mysteriously dropped out of the picture.  Now three people (a young man, the females husband and an elderly gentleman) suddenly were involved in the discussions that followed.  Each man took turns insisting to Eagle that the female (who initiated this whole situation) was not the responsible party and that they would not pay for the work that had already been completed.  When Eagle asked that the female who initiated this whole event, present herself, Eagle was told that she would no longer be available.  Well obviously this was simply a ploy to try and get out of paying for any services rendered. These three men wanted Eagle to "settle" for a lower price.  When Eagle refused the man named Eddie insinuated that he would retaliate.  Thus you have this review.  It is obvious that these folks have done this before (use a female to initialize a situation and then they appear and try to use intimidation to get their way).  Eagle has been in business since 1983 and are members of the BBB with an A+ rating.  Eagle is also a member in good standing with the Chamber of Commerce and are active members of the community.  We would be happy to share any information concerning this matter.
