Well well, where do i begin i purchased this Eagle warranty "the Liberty plan a 4 year coverage plan" which at the time costed me $1,395 from a local Texas dealership, i was told they are a very good company and have always paid when repairs are need, so after 3 1/2years of NO claims on this extended warranty company my wife's water pump and therma housing leak goes out on her SUV and starts to leak like crazy, i take it to my local dealership and i hand over all my warranty info. and the next day my serivice advisor asked me, where did i find this company, they are a joke he tells me, he than tells me that they only want to pay at the $50 per hour rate, i called a local ghetto shop to find out there rate and it was at $75 per hour while the dealerships are at $100-$120 per hour so i am thinking what the hell! no repair company charges $50 bucks an hour no one, and my serivice advisor goes on to tell me that they suggested that they use aftermarket Napa/PepBoy parts instead of OEM parts, what?!?! this company is a joke, so i called the Eagle warranty company it took 30min to finally get someone on the phone and the lady on the other end was so rude and disrespectful she would not let me say or put in a word she just kept yelling at me, so i hung up, than to make matter's even worse Eagle Warranty told my advisor that they are only covering up to $110 dollars of the repairs which totals out to almost $600 and that they will pay with a credit card but it will take 10 days to pay. BUYER BEWARE Eagle Warranty company is a true Rip off a company..

When I went to pick up my Caravan on6/25, Pep Boys told me that they no longer deal with Eagle Warranty because they have had problems being paid on time, if at all, and the rudeness of their staff.
Pep Boys is no longer doing warranty work for Eagle!

Same problem/Same issues with Eagle

I just bought a low-mileage 2000 Dodge Caravan on June 11, and discovered a coolant leak on the 18th. I called Eagle, they assured me that the coolant system was covered, and recommended Pep Boys. I took it in...and this morning I received an $800 bill! It seems as if the water pump and the timing cover gasket are shot and must be repaired.
Pep Boys indicated that Eagle will cover $110 of that -- for the water pump. The coolant system is not entirely covered -- only the intake gaskets.
It took 45 minutes on hold to get someone from customer service, and then another 20 minutes to get to my "adjuster," Joe Topa. Joe was vulgar and rude on the phone, and hung up on me when I read part of the "Liberty Contract" back to him over the phone.
This company is useless and a scam.
My uncle is an employee of the used car dealer who sold me the minivan, and they have used Eagle for all their previous warranties. After this experience, they will be dropping Eagle and filing a complaint with the FTC
