Earthbound Designs ripoff Bullhead City Arizona

On April 17 2006, I purchased by phone, A Double Layer DVD Writer. The item was A Plextor Model 716A. Price including shipping was $163.95 The person that I spoke with was Susie Rose, Office manager. She had informed me on a previous occasion that Earthbound Designs did not sell used or refurbished equipment.

The unit was shipped to me a few days later from A different company, Micro Technology Unlimited, or MTU Karaoke in North Carolina. It arrived in a plain brown box accompanied by only an old used software disc. There were no Plextor Accessories, manuals, cables, etc that usually are in a factory package. Definitely used and refurbished.

I contacted Ms Rose and she informed me that she would send me A return Authorization number. Three weeks later, which was May 10th I finally recieved the R\A number. May 10th at 8:40 Eastern time the package was returned to MTU. I emailed her a copy of the UPS reciept and tracking number.

Ms Rose left a message on my answering service, which I still have recorded, that as soon as she recieced the tracking number she would credit my account. She failed to do this.

I have emailed her several times and left messages and she still refuses to answer me or credit my account. This has been very aggravating and frustrating to me.

I do not hold MTU accountable for this, but would never do business with them. Earthbound Designs owe me $163.95 and I have no intentions of allowing them to swindle me.

There is nothing that I would appreciate more than to see this message plastered all over the internet. These people are unworthy of anyone's business
