The Eastern Motors radio commercial states that your job is your credit. It also states on the hold commercial (when you call the store and are put on hold) that approval is guaranteed. We asked the sales person under what circumstances one would not be approved for the automobile, in which he stated that one lied on my application then one would not be approved for the car.
While on the lot waiting for information regarding the car loan, I heard the commercial again on the radio of the car parked outside, which basically reinforced what the salesperson told me.
Finally after trading my car and being promised $2000 for it, cash, and a promissory note for more money at the end of the week, I was told that I was approved for a vehicle. While driving back home, the engine light came on. Called Eastern and talked to the sales manager and explained the problem.
We were asked to bring the car back to Fredericksburg the next day for a loaner while they looked at the car I had purchased. When I called Eastern, after being put on hold for 20 minutes, I was told that there is a problem and I had to return the car.
After wasting 2 days and gas I realized that the Eastern Motors Commercial is a ploy to get people on the lot, Financing is not guaranteed as they state. Funny after I found a problem with the car they said that I could not get it, but after reading the other postings my experience sounds like everyone elses.

I had always wanted to drive a caddilac even though I have bad credit. I saved $1500 and my friend said her boyfriend had just got a car from eastern motors. So I went up there and told them my story, I always wanted a Cadillac but never had the money or the credit. After filling out the paperwork, I was approved. I don't know what easterns you went to but the one I went to got me done. They put me in a 2004 CTS for only $450 a month.

In this area, about 1/2 of used car dealers DO NOT post the sales price for used vehicles on the car. That's because Kelly Blue Book publishes all used car values on a weekly basis (you can go to kellybluebook.com). Finance Companies use these values when determining the actual value of the vehicle and financing terms. Since prices can (and will) change weekly, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to "post" the price of 800+ cars on a weekly basis. There are a few Dealers that do post their "sales price" on the vehicle, including Buy-Here-Pay-Here lots and other Dealers that do not care what "Kelly" has to say and will charge whatever they want for the car.
As far as financing, I also do second chance financing (houses not cars). I can guarentee I can get anyone a mortgage, but some people will have to put 10-20% down. Easterns is the same way. YES they can GUARENTEE anyone financing, but some people may not want, like, or be able to handle the terms. The biggest problem is usually that they do not have enough money saved up for the down payment.

I can guarentee ANYONE I can get them a mortgage, but some people have to put 20-30% down! Easterns is the same way. They CAN get financing for anyone, however, some people can't come up with $1,000.00 for the down payment. They DO NOT guarentee 100% financing.
