Justice? Geoff Holland aka ebay member Gbayemporium suspended from Ebay. However he claims it was a foul-up. He was reinstated after approx 8 hours. I do not for 1 minute believe that Ebay mistakenly' suspended him. All of his 5000 listings were removed, his blog completely deleted. He can claim it was a foul-up if he wants to. I just can't believe that Ebay would remove a gold powerseller with over 5000 listings without reason. I am sure that since he lives very close to the Burnaby office then he probably went down there and persuaded them (his friends)to let him back in. Ebay is corruptthe back door left WIDE OPEN.

It seems that Mr Holland likes to make rude,vulgar and threatening comments to others yet he can't stand to be held accountable for his actions.He cried to youtube and they removed the truthful videos.He cannot exert any pressure on the above site

What Is The Actual Value of An Item?Posted Jan-11-09 15:58:08 PSTAn piece of merchandise might have a Kovel's or Scott's value of $500.00 but the true value is the proce agreed upon between the buyer and seller.Too many people get hung up on an item's book value and they will hardly ever meet that price.Occassionally a buyer may pay more than the recognized value depnding on the competition for the item,the condition and the scarcity.

An antique is expected to have a bit of wear but it one comes on the market or up for auction and it is mint,it may bring a premium price.The opposite is true,if the piece is well worn beyong the normal for the period in which it was made,it may very well bring a low price or not purchased at all.Just something to think about.

I think that is what reserve is for, but I hate those. I need to rethink.

I had a junk/antique shop in an antique mall in Great Falls,Montana and competition among 30 dealers was a buyer's delight.Whenever dealers came in fro out of state on a buying trip,we all came in and bargained the price that we were willing to sell.Those were fun days.I managed a Sambos right up the street so it was nothing to pop over and hawk my wares to makle any profit,especially when the Canadian dollar fell so low that they could no longer come over the border to shop economically.

Whenever I see posts like that which are unthinking as to it's content,I realize that racism is as strong today as it ever was.To believe differently is naive.Most try to be politically correct but deep down in the recesses of their hearts,they are filled with the teachings of their parents,grandparents and community.

My Mother grew up in CleElum ,Washington,a coal mining town made up of almost every nationality comprising the immigrant influx into American during the late 1800s.I remember well the Pollocks,Degos,Chinks.Kikes,Micks,Bohunks and you name it living together,working underground,depending upon one another for their very lives.I also remember going to the Wap meat counter and to the Kraut bakery as a little kid with my grandmother who was a first generation Swede.Even in that small community,the town was divided and the Niggers,queers and Micks lived across the tracks where the w***e and bawdy houses flourished.It was a different America.Today,the young have a fantasy about a perfect world but it doesn't exist but in the minds of idealists.And that's OK.It makes therm feel good to put on a face of respectability when in truth,they themselves have their own forms of discriminations.To be politically correct today is the in thing.Cultures change with the times.ven in my lifetime,I have watched and experienced a race of peoples trying desparately to find their self identification.They went from Negroes,to Black,then to Black Americans and finally to African Americans,with some revertings to Niggas, all in a short span of forty years.Something to think about isn't it?

Maybe thios will wake up some people to make them realize that theya re not as private as they would like to think.One of the best ways to find a person is to uuse the school records.it's easy to get an approximate year of graduation and the first names of all the graduates.Some even give the picture.From there it is an easy trip to accumulate a whole bunch of info to include professional licenses,property,taxes,voting records the list goes on and on.A person just ahs to know how to do it.My friend here ahs a collection agency and I used to help them out many years ago so I learned the ropes fast.
