EBAY/ LESTER SUPERVISOR EBAY SCAM, Won't refund, negative feedback, won't credit, paypal scam San Francisco, California

I'm not going to discount anything you've said. There are huge risks in eBay that you should be ready for with the proper configuration. This ALMOST happened to me until I got smarter. Here's steps to do it right the next time (if there is a next time):

SELLING SETTINGS
When you setup a listing, there is an area at the bottom called "Other things you'd like buyers to know" that most sellers ignore. Click "Change buyer requirements" and you can filter out most a-holes. I ALWAYS DISALLOW THE USERS WITH THE FOLLOWING (and these options are right there in a check-box):

Block buyers who:

• Don't have a PayPal account
  
  
  
• 
  Have received 2 Unpaid item Strike(s) within 1 month(s)
  
  
  
• 
  Have a primary shipping address in countries that I don't ship to

There are even more options to use to get rid of the jerks. Oh, and btw, in that prompt, it says "PayPal account holders have up to an 80% lower Unpaid Item rate."

Remember, you have to do this with EACH LISTING (it doesn't save on it's own). If you can't access it, you might have to go to the top right of the listing and click where it says something like "more options" and this DOES NOT COST MORE TO USE!!

NEVER SEND ITEM WITHOUT PAYMENT FIRST
Login to eBay, click "Selling" and then about half way down the page it has "awaiting payment from buyer" or something to that effect. Only send the item when they've cleared that section of the site.

ALWAYS USE TRACKING
It costs $0.80 (80 cents) more, but get a delivery confirmation for every item. You can input the 20 digit number into eBay.com and it becomes evidence that you sent the item. That helps law enforcement if you can't resolve it.

POLICE STILL EXIST
- I've seen so many sellers freak out and go to eBay about it. Look, if you sent a person an item and have the tracking information, transaction information, home address and eBay does nothing, Google their address' local law enforcement and give them a fax of the issue. Believe me, they aren't used much anymore, but cops still exist.


I'd take this stuff into consideration and try again, you might find that it was worth it. If not, good luck with everything. I bounced back, can only talk from personal experience.
