Dish Network - Echostar Communications ripoff most of the people over at Dish are rude, incompetent, and more. Englewwod Colorado

I entered into a service agreement with Dish Network in October of 2004. I ordered the 180 program service, almost the highest price product Dish Network has to offer.

Since October, I've had a repair crew coming out 3 times to fix the system. Each time, the signal failed (even though, there's no storm, tree etc). Each time, no success long-term. After 4 weeks, same problem.

I never received an invoice. 2 days ago, I received a rude and harassing email from VMC Satellite that my service will soon be disconnected and I get charged $290.

I had checked with Dish beforehand because, due to all the many problems, I thought about disconnecting already!! Dish told me that I was on a month-to-month basis.

VMC now tells me I've a 1 year subscription with them. VMC, so I found out, is the exlusive retailer for Dish. Dish gives you the month-to-month service, but VMC requires you to hang in for at least 1 year.

I've received harassing emails from VMC. Breach of contract etc etc etc. Collections and Credit Score, I was threatened with as well. I called VMC and ended up in a shouting match. VMV told me they had nothing to do with Dish. Really?!?

Yesterday, I finally received an invoice with past due. And, I had been told, I was set up on automatic pay. I found out, that never happened. I paid online.

Now, I've been trying to get a repair crew out for the 4th time now! Every time, before you even get an appointment finally at the mercy of the tech center, you'll have to speak with them to convince them that someone needs to come out. 30 minutes every single time!

Needless to say, I was unable to schedule my appointment. As of now, I'm paying and have paid for no service. Besides, most of the people over at Dish are rude, incompetent, and more.

You receive comments like: Are you very sure, the system is not working. Sir, I think you're exaggerating.

VMC comments: I doubt you ever sent us an email. I doubt, and I think so, you're making up stories. Excuse me?!?

I'm so inclined to sue. Anyone wants to join???
