No, the posting is 100% factual, Rich Coulter fired me because I did NOT back down like other employees about serious issues regarding my employment:  I was exposed to XYLENE (now Illegal in Florida) in toxic doses with no OSHA REQUIRED gear of any kind.  I was very very sick for days and he laughed at me, saying he used it for years with no effects.  No human alive could tolerate a dangerous and harmful chemical like that.  When I told him that maybe he could blow smoke up the other employees butts but not me about XYLENE in front of the othe employees, he got really angry and chased me out the door, but I was hired back two weeks later.  Chemically poisoined because of him and then chased away, I swear on the baby Jesus.  I was also injured on the job using a malfunctioning power tool on a job site, THAT'S when I found out he had no Workman's Comp Insurance also...and I was told to be at work the next day anyway.  The Unskilled laborers were ridiculous to work with, the jobs continually compromised, different materials from the showroom, female employees and applicants were sexually approached by Mr Coulter regularly, the work truck was a joke, dangeroud and uninsured with expired plates, and the pay was "on salary" which I found out later is ILLEGAL in the trades in Florida, on salary is for office jobs and light work.  The final straw was my exploding at him after NOT getting paid for a third week in a row, while prostitutes and drug use continually found their way into Rich's "apartment/2nd floor showroom" ...I showed up with my landlord, a respected Vero Beach businessman, and the two of us DEMANDED my money right there.  Rich paid me a portion, and I never saw another penny or had another day's work there.

Yep, Gloria Estefan shelled out a lot of money to this company, to re-open the then neglected Costa de Este that she bought, as she did with many other tradesman.  The difference: the other trades did excellent work and Rich's high priced finishes were acceptable at best and are now deteriorating quickly. Namedropping BS playing on sympathy for reputable folks who actually suffered devastating losses during several horrible hurricane seasons.  Preying on the shattered remains of good people and their tattered properties with his over-priced lies and incompetent staff of mostly inexperienced workers.

Since then, Richard has gone through dozens of employees, eventually firing ALL of them because he owed them thousands of dollars, and a pool of unemployed labor was readily available because of the tradesman employment decline due to the economic collapse in Florida.  His expansion is a joke, and he owes many many thousands and thousands of dollars to everybody, employees, loan sharks, drug dealers, whores, his landlord, and clients for crap work.

All comments here were 100% true and accurate at that point in time.  His business practices are COMPLETELY self-serving and his "professionalism" exists purely in his own mind. I HAVE many pictures and videos of illegal aliens housed in the shop, of the unregistered uninsured "Sanford and Son" work truck, of many compromised jobs that were awful upon completion, of other completed jobs in local businesses that are failing now, of different lesser quality material containers (which were immediately disposed of at every job as per Rich's instructions), I have hospital records of my injuries due to his incompetence, and actual written statements from several other ex-employees testifying to the validity of my original statements in this posting.  The list of improprieties really goes on and on...and I possess the evidence.

I would be more than happy to put all my records, witness statements, photos, video recordings on display for all to see, ESPECIALLY for a judge in a court of law. 

I took the advice of family and walked away from this nightmare experience and overall deceitful contractor, but feel obligated to let the general community here in Vero Beach and across the internet know what a bum he is.  DO NOT BELIEVE HIS LIES...and the worst part is...he REALLY doesn't care.  Go back to Michigan, Rich Coulter, you are a heartless A hole who lines his pockets with money from employees paychecks and unsuspecting clients EVERY DAY.  I can't wait for him to eventually be arrested, and I will be the FIRST ONE at the prosecutors office on that day with a stack of pictures and information.

Do yourselves a favor folks, go someplace else.  There are many fine tradesmen in Vero Beach that can satisfy your needs professionally, and competently...and Rich Coulter is NOT on that list.
