Ecomax Insurance Claims Verifier claimed to be a buyer for a cragislist car ad I posted, insisted I get a vehicle history report from a specific website Wilmington Deleware

same as others, buyer interested in my car on craiglist, was persistent they only accepted a report from insuranceclaimsverifier.com, I did it and in paypal the bill came from a company called "ecomax", shocker. buyer is delaying now so i am sure they got what they came for, my 25 bucks and a look at my other information. I got the initial text from 248-270-8731 and a guy saying his name was todd.

if you dispute through paypal, you get a link to a chat with a Brian Knowles, they will not refund your money even though paypal says they claim to have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. 

if you google ecomax, you will find many of this same story, verbatim, and even see the same brian knowles and ecomax name associated with many different websites all giving you the same web form to fill out and 25 dollar charge to get a basic vehicle history report.
