This is one of the worst scams EVER!!! You will get a call saying that since you are a customer in good standing of "VISA" you can work at home and earn tons of money, simply by providing names of business owners in your State, along with their contact information. If you ask, you will be told that their outstanding sales people will offer these hardworking people (the biz owners) a 2% merchant rate which is much lower than what most small businesses pay. THey will tell you they close 82% and you will get $500 for each closed deal, paid within 10 days.. >A LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beware...if you get one of these calls, tell them "SHAME ON YOU!" and hang up...They ask for $495 for a' license' to join them and $24.95 for a website (that once you see it, it's crap..awful..)...THen you're stuck. You send it your leads and no one calls you..ever..unless you call and yell & scream. Then they put you through to people who say the usual " Sorry, I had no idea' or "Sorry, you were misinformed"..NOnsense. It's all on purpose and they are THIEVES. You cannot get through to the principle of owners of the company and department 'managers' are referred to by 1st name only. You can't get a last name....you speak to people who sound like they are 20 years old who say they have 'no idea' why the 'sales closer' said what they said, but oops...YOU have to cold call and do all the work and good luck then with your hard work and leads (if you get any) because if you ask" how many of my leads have you called? What are the results? WHen are you calling the rest" they tell you how overwhelmed they are and 'be patient' ...sure, until it's too late to get YOUR money back....I will be reporting them to the BBB (which so far rates them a solid "F" if you check; wish I had done that FIRST, but buyer beware now, if yo'ure reading this!). I have notified my credit card company about this dispute and will take it to the Attorney General of AZ if I have to. I work way way too hard at 2 jobs to keep my head afloat to give them..literally HAND OVER my money for NOTHING!! The only people making money are THEMSELVES. PLEASE don't be a victim of Economic Freedom Corp. They are a total sham/scam/ rip off.

Wondering what happens w/ all the supposed happy clients that expected 3 yrs. of commissions? Or was that all part of the illusion?
They have ripped of many seniors and veterans, and well deserve severe punishment and pay back everyone!
A Kathy Martinjak is U.S. Postal inspector's consumer fraud analyst. Says there are 100 or so of these bankcard empire off shots. Not allowed to post her #, but at Tucson office, and she'll mail out a complaint form to victims.
John Hanson of Web4amer. and Justin Johnson of EFc are the main higher ups I've spoken with only to hear their phoney lies and excuses.
I do not think this site will post the link, but google 3 on your side news report of last week.....valley business rips of people for hundreds of thousands of $.

I Too Was Ripped Off By Economic Freedom Corp

Just wanted to add my 2 cents worth. Actually it was more like $8500 worth.
Yep, that's what they got me for. Don't need to explain the procedure as many
have already went through the steps and process EFC uses to rip you off.
I have been fighting with them since October of 2010 (and with my credit card Compnay) so far I 've only got back $1250 of the $8500. Yes, i contacted the BBB and the Arizona State Attorney etc. but have not received a refund yet....Most of them just acknowledge that they have received you complaint and have notified them blah blah blah.
It appears that EFC does have a full time "Resolution Manager" person - Keyla Johnson. She contacted me to try and settle with them for pennies on the dollar (active merchant accounts) and 1750 more leads...yadah yadah yadah. Of course I refused their offer and didn't sign the form she sent me.
John W. you spoke about your experience of working for EFC and that now you want o help those of us who are victims to regain our losses, but you don't tell how to reach you? You say to call you but don't give a #.
I would like to make people aware that there are so called 'scam settlement companies' that will call you to help get your money back. However, many of them are scams themselves ..... so be ware.

So True ---this co. & websites4america are the WORST!

YEA! For John W. as efc crooks took him to court and the judge saw through efc's B.S. in a few moments and threw the case out. Unfortunately he did not have the opportunity to present his well thought out case EXPOSING their bait and switch tactics and other forms of FRAUD.
3 on your side report is grossly understating how bad it is. I am curious to know just how many victims there really are and how many millions of $'s these fraudsters have ripped good folks off for??

Moved to Las Vegas, and Att. Gen. in NV phone message is that the consumeer complaint dept. is shut down due to budget prob. Something has to stop these clowns as the latest mail I got was win 200 bmw's......or earn $600./mo on commissions to make the payments. Too BAD that once they have your $ the services STOP, and one is lucky to get beyond an answering machine.
John Hanson supposed former owner of web4america......has apparently sold to Chany Foerster and efc......or so he said in an email. Taking the money and running, avoiding all accountability is their shell game. They refuse to admit they are scammers and say folks do make $. I would love to see any verification of that?

Anyone want a shot at EFC?
AUTHOR: john - (United States of America)

My name is John Wilson. I worked for the "EFC" (Economic Freedom Corporation AKA DW Scott, Bankcard Empire, and Innovative Marketing Strategies), and all the other names they call themselves. I quit after I realized the full extent of the deception they employ in their business practice. What they do is wrong, and people let them do it to them and then don't fight back. I was fortunate enough to learn what makes them tick and what procedures, when applied properly, will get clients money back. Although they claim that fees are not refundable, there are laws to the contrary. There are a variety of procedures that will effect at least a partial refund. However it is a matter of who, to call, and in what order, to put the pressure on. I have not secured a new job and spend a lot of time help people to the best of my ability to get some or all of there money back. This takes up a good deal of time. So I charge a small amount of money for my time and service. I will assist anyone that has lost money to EFC in the steps it takes to get some or all of the money they lost to these creeps back. I ask for a check or money order for 20dollars, Please send to: John Wilson

Re: EFC
Enclose a letter explaining the circumstances of your situation. I will send you a detailed plan of action immediately. Please include when your commitment with them began. I have no need for any personal information just an outline and timeline so I can best direct your efforts. This is not a guarantee of a full refund of the money you lost to this company but it is inside info and will level the playing field. It will take persistence on your part, and a little work. Everyone so far has found that it was worth a little effort. I encourage you to call me and get to know me before committing your money or trust with me.
If you lost hundreds or thousands to these people, I am sure it is worth 20- dollars to have the chance I can offer to get your money back. My information comes from the inside of their operation. Unlike EFC, I will not disappear, and I will always answer my phone, I will not ask you for another dime. I will coach you as far as reasonably possible and be available to coach you over the phone at any reasonable hourThe procedure I offer is known to effect the results that you seek. I know how to rock their boat. . Give me a call @ 602-265-6674 lets see if we can get your money back. They only get away with it because people let them fight back. Call me, John

ASK questions ... a lot and in depth!
AUTHOR: Rick - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, November 10, 2010
I asked questions like:
1. First of all, if this is such a great money maker ... why aren't you doing it instead of soliciting me to do it ... do you make $2000 a week? - Well, I would if I could but the AZ districts are filled and we limit agents to a 50 mile radius. Now, we are recruiting in PA and the Northeast ... you do live in PA?
2. Who is your parent company - got Visa/Mastercard as an answer.
3. OK, who does the Merchant make his check payable to - One said VISA the other, the BOSS, said EFC
4. How long have you been in business - 1 year
5. I asked about any reports on "RipOff.com" and they said they never heard of it but would go look
6. If this is so much of a money maker ... why don't you start me off and from my paychecks, take out the One-time Fee and the recurring monthly Fee for the Website? - The system was not set up that way and I can't change it.
Then tell them you have enough info to research them and will get back to them ... they will try to push you to do it now and then when you say in a few days or so ... they will through some insults and hang up ...
Play them as they play you ... if a legitimate company stays on the line and answer your questions and are willing to wait for your research ... you may have something ... still maybe not!
I got info to research the company, from his answers, and said I would call back when I was done ... he pushed me to make it within a couple of hours and I said in a couple of days ... he then said "I know the reason you are mad at the world ... your name is (redacted) ... stay broke!" and promptly hung up ... I had a hard time stopping my laughing at the childish attempt to make me regret NOT signing up and wasting HIS time (I had fun) ... I just made a lot of money by NOT losing it on a scam ... I count myself lucky!
Good Luck to you also!
