Ecosmarte emerged from Chjaper 11 Reorganization in September 2010 and all bankruptcy issues were discharged by the Court in 2011.  No warranties were affected.

Ecosmarte Planet Friendly had filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy On June 2, 2009, the company filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the federal Bankruptcy Act, and emerged in a year from bankruptcy during the bankruptcy not once did a bill go unpaid.

This was not an issue about money. ECOsmarte has been doing business since 1994 with the same 1-800-ion-swim number on every control box that leaves our facility. Really look at who ECOsmarte is -- we are the largest manufactures of chlorine free pool systems world wide with over 300 dealers. 

Lets talk about our facility ECOsmarte has started its one million dollar renovation, it will involve luxury hotel suites for our dealers a complex solar grid tied system a roof top and parking lot cistern so ECOsmarte can treat the water. when it is finished we will conduct tours of our facility and guess what we are not taking out construction loan. ECOsmarte is not going anywhere!!

unfortunately many companies have been in Ch 11 Bankruptcy the last 2 years.  what many may not understand is Ch. 11 is a reorganization of the company.  it does not mean the company is going out of business.  every major airline and all the auto manufacturers are still around after being in Ch. 11.  Ecosmarte currently has a plan submitted with the court and expects to be out of Ch. 11 by the middle of March stronger than ever.

it is also important to point out that sites like this allow competitors to make up stories pretending to be consumers with problems.  anyone listing themselves as anonymous is a pretty good clue that this is an attempt by a competitor to try to discredit us.  the tag line listing specific search terms to try to get this out also points out that this is not from a real person with a legitimate concern.
