Attended this school for 2 years in hope of transferring to a 4 year University. ECPI swore on their "good" name that they are accredited when they are NOT. Went to apply for admission to VCU and VCU say they do not take ANY of ECPI credits. VCU plainly stated ECPI isn't accredited, the lady (admission rep) at VCU even called around asking officials about their accreditation with ECPI and they told her (then she then told me) they don't take them, because they are NOT accredited. Admissions rep at VCU told me I have to start over and attend a community college, because the community colleges that IS accredited have courses that I have to learn before I can take VCU higher level courses.

ECPI is a joke, stay away from ECPI unless you wanna get ripped off and end up leaving the institution with a $40,000,00 debt bill in financial aid funds. Oh and by the way, they also approached me near end of my graduation and say I have to pay $800.00 out of pocket before I can receive my degree due to the fact I was "behind in payments". However, as they plainly state in their contract, I can NEVER be behind in payments otherwise I would be dropped from class...

Yeah they are bullshit, I always made my "$100.00 a month" payments due to the fact that I have AID (my grants alone covered well over the 2 year cost of their "$100.00" a month fees in which they said it hit my account). They just wanted extra money from me as well as the other students to cover up the fraud that they were doing with government money and GOT CAUGHT. If you don't understand by now, stay away from ECPI regardless of their A+ rating on http://www.bbb.org.
