I studied the material, took the "test", and received a certificate shortly after. I realized though, that anyone could pass the exam and get this certification. I could have doctored one up on my computer better than this.

I feel cheated and wronged, and out $34 dollars on what I could have spent on REAL courses and REAL accreditation.

Make sure there is a WORKING customer service number, a phsycial address, and that you check to make sure your employer has heard of and reccommends a specific certification program. If not, don't do it.

AUTHOR: eCPRCertification Management - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, January 22, 2010

I am one of the managing partners of eCPRCertification.com.  Before responding directly to the comments, let me give you a little background on exactly what we do.

We are a web based training company who specialize in delivering training in CPR and First Aid on the Web to individuals as well as organizations.  Our program has been developed and is administered by the staff of Red Cross certified instructors.

First and fore most our goal is to bring free and easy to understand material to people who seek to learn CPR and/or First Aid in convenience of their home and not prepared or can not afford classes offered by American Heart Association or Red Cross. We have thousands upon thousands of satisfied students who have taken our course and in some cases purchased our certificate and in some cases did not. In either case people who left our website have learned how to perform CPR and/or administer first aid.

1. Our courses and testing are absolutely free - anyone can visit us and take the course, test their knowledge, and pay nothing.

2. We do charge for certificate of completion. This is for people that require prove that they have taken our course.

The feedback we have received from our students have been tremendous. We have testimonials of people saving lives after taking our course. We are also providing training and certification to mid to large size organization across the country.

I think above information directly disproves the claims made by the person in this "report".  Perhaps it is a competitor who is trying to give our organization a bad name. None the less, I will address each of the points one by one to show that what this anonymous user is saying is absolutely false.

1. Yes, the course is designed for everyone, and yes the goal of the course is to educate all of the students so they are able to pass the test.

2. Can the certificate be doctored, yes, but so can other official documents one acquires through their life, diploma, passport, birth certificate.  Doing so is illegal and is punishable by law.  Furthermore, we verify directly with employers every day the validity of our certificates.  That is why we have unique alpha-numeric sequenced assigned to each certificate we issue.

3. Our Customer Service Phone # 866-608-6129.  We do maintain majority of our communication via email to insure accuracy and speed of response.

4. Not sure where this person got the address posted on this "report" but we are not from California and the address that is posted is absolutely incorrect.  We are a Delaware based company.

5.  We have the acceptance guarantee policy, where we guarantee unconditional money back if the employer or organization that required certification does not accept it.  It is our policy and we follow it.

In addition, as general rule we recommend to all our prospective students to verify with their employer weather they accept our certificates prior to taking the course.

I believe our response address and disproves the original report. If there are additional questions, you can always email us at contact_us @ecprcertification.com. Also, to the person who wrote the report, please email us directly, assuming you are a real student, and we will be glad to resolve any issues you might have.
