I got charged a $30 returned payment fee from this company for paying my bill on time, but accidentally having a typo on my bank account info. I always pay on time, but mistyped one digit. So after I set up the payment to go through I checked my bank account a couple days later to see that nothing has posted. SO I went in to see that my balance was still not paid, so I made my payment again, it posted, and cleared through my bank account.

I now have a letter from this company saying that my account is past due because they charged $30 for having a typo on my bank account info and that they have reported this as delinquent to the credit bureau! Their System shouldve caught that and/ or notified me right away. I got no e-mail, no call, no notification saying that they were going to wreck my credit history because of this. The letter says that they have already reported to the credit bureau. Havent these people ever heard of communication??? My e-mail and phone number have been on file from day one of having my account with them and never received notification of this. Please be aware of having ECSI bill you for loans on behalf of anyone. Very unprofessional, and wrecked my credit!
