I purchased a system from Puronics (Victory First) in November of last year and I could not have made a worse decesion. I have had nothing but problems with them since the begining. Installation was a disaster and it went downhill from there.
We paid $2700 and expected to receive a quality piece of equipment. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Unit breaks constantly and the stainless steel tank is a lighting rod. Our home had never been struck by lighting and now we have had 2 strikes since installation. We were warned about this but did not think it would be a problem.
They will not remove it and now want to charge me $300 to replace the carbon in the system or it will void my warranty. Don't make the same mistake I did.

To whom it may concern.. First off Puronics has been in business for over 50 years and never had any claims of Lightning hitting the unit or the cause of lightning striking a house..ever! We here at victory first Water have never had any kind of complaints ever of our system being the cause of Lightning hitting the house Second this system was installed in your garage... think about that everyone.. there’s no way lightnings going to hit it in your garage..
Third.. we offer a unit no other company can compare that’s made out of solid stainless steel so other company’s try to come up w crazy negatives about our product just like this one.. The system will never cause lightning to hit your house and if it does it has a full bumper-to-bumper warranty that we would cover if that was the case.
