i was doing contract maintenance in ohio back in 2005.my f350 front hub and transmission overdrive went out.plus diesal was going up.i traded for a 03 ford escape they wanted 14999 for the escape i still owed 22000 on my f350 they gave me 12000 which left me 10000 to put back onto ford escape.at first ford was going to finance but Ed Mullinax Ford called me and told me ford would not finance me.they had redid paperwork got wells fargo to finance.after i was done i sit down and looked they had finance 28000 at 17.75% which total out to 38000.payments at 528.62 i,ve tryed to trade this escape to lower my payment.im to upside down i still owe 14000 on a 4500 truck.watch how they finance you.they get a kick back from someone there or at wells fargo.other dealers i talked to have told me they screwed me good and had a nice vacation because of me.

Let's see:

Fusion--------- $15,000
Truck Debt----- $10,000
Sales Tax------ $900 (6%)
Total-------$25,900

So you (or they) have $2100 to justify.

That 17.75% interest rate is pretty steep, but you are the person who was driving a truck he could not afford to repair and who also owed a lot of upside-down money on that truck. You were in a very weak bargaining position and I would guess most banks would not be enthusiastic about financing someone who trades a truck for $12000 on which they still owe $22000.

Maybe you should lay out a strict budget for yourself, and also quit trading vehicles before your finances sink lower than the Titanic.

If you read the contract, and signed it, looks like you are the one to blame here. OR, did they forge your signature, or change the contract after you signed it?
