I purchased a pre-owned SUV from Ed Voyles in October of 2009.  Since that time there has been one problem after another. I would not be writing this report had the sales and management provided acceptable customer service.  Unfortunately, when I contacted them regarding any of the issues, I would get the run around or they would claim there was nothing they could do. Dozens of emails and phone calls are necessary for ANY response.  They have been apathetic and refused to stand behind the quality of their product or service.  If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Ed Voyles, I warn you that once the sales papers are signed, they will no longer be motivated to provide you with decent customer service. BEWARE and don't make the same mistake I did.

Some of the issues I've have:

1) Brake/rotor issue a few days after I drove off the lot. Brought it in for service.  I was there for almost 3 hours and they claimed that they replaced the rotors.  This was a blatant lie. The problem continued and I had an outside service center evaluate it.  The outside mechanic confirmed that there was no evidence of any work on the rotors.  It took months for Ed Voyles to acknowledge this and reluctantly reimburse me.

2) During sales proces they agreed to process my tags and registry.  They forgot and it took another few weeks and more time/emails/phone calls for a resolution.

3)  I received a letter about two weeks ago from Chrysler LLC regarding my Jeep's Powertrain Warranty.  The letter states that the warranty has not been transferred to into my name and unless it is transferred within this month, my vehicle will have no Powertrain Warranty.  Keep in mind the extended warranty that "came with the vehicle" was a HUGE selling point for me.  I thought the Powertain Warranty had been transferred at the time of sale since NOTHING was communicated to me regarding the transfer process or that I needed to take any action.  This is the first time  I am hearing about this.  Again, several emails and phone calls later, Jeff Barber the finance director said that there was nothing they could do since the purchase took place last year!?!?!  Needless to say  I am appalled that they will not even ATTEMPT to make this situation better (caused from their lack of communication.

Save yourself the time and headache...these folks will say anything to make a sale but will not stand behind their product.
