My girl friend and I are moving out and she wanted a stable job. She wanted to be a home health aide because they have room to advance their career. I found www.ed4online.com and www.ed4credit.com they offer many courses available online. They say they are accredited in the southern region of the United States. They have a HHA course that was on the expensive side and it matches the cost of many in person hha classes. My girlfriend wanted to spend the 1250$ (all her tax refund) on the hha course they offer, but after doing some research I found that they weren't accredited by the Department of education. I spoke to them thru live chat, and was told that their Home health aide course would help me find a job and I should be wary of lower price hha courses. I thought that was fishy since they dont offer job placement assistance of any kind and then 5 minutes later dropped the price of their 1250$ course to $500... (because they are running a special)...right after telling me to be wary of lower priced courses. I tried calling their home office, but was only able to leave voicemails with no responses at all.
1 week later we decided to go over to their office on race track rd and ask our questions in person. We opened the door and were greeted by a friendly lady at a desk. We asked for more information regarding their home health aide courses. She replied "This isn't ed4online any longer. This is SW kitchens now. They left without giving the landlord notice very quickly." Keep in mind the sign is still up outside. I'm blown away.. But also feel relieved. The lady could see that we were confused and kind of stressed. She explains "I am a medical coder and knowing where you are getting your education from is very important. You should look at whether they offer job placement assistance and if they help you update your resume. That way you know that they dont just want your money. This insures they care about your success not just your money.

As for “leaving suddenly”, we did choose in 2017 to close our offices on Race Track Road because we didn’t need that space anymore. We didn’t leave suddenly. We gave full notice to the complex management and we continued to pay until our lease was up. The fact that our name is still on the marquee is an issue with Office Park management and not something we have any control over.

Hello, I’m sorry that you have had a bad experience with our company. I am happy to clarify any questions that you might have. First, our career training is done through Ed4Online and Ed4Credit is a totally different part of our company and has nothing to do with our career training or our HHA program.
We are very clear that we are an education company and not a school. We offer online courses for people that want to get some training “under their belt” to prepare them for the workforce. We work with colleges and universities across the country, but always through not-for-credit adult continuing education. We have never claimed to be regionally accredited since we are not a school. We do have professional accreditation for those that need it for continuing education to maintain their licenses. We do not promise to find you a job because that can’t be guaranteed but we do offer resume services and career coaching at no additional cost.
Here at Ed4Online we always encourage potential customers to do their research and make sure the training they want to take with us will transfer to the career field they are looking into. HHA is different in every state and each state has their own requirements for this position. In our transcript of your conversation with our customer service representative, there was no mention of being “wary of lower priced courses”. We do from time-to-time offer discount coupons to make our training more affordable to our customers.
If you called our company during normal business hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ET, you would have gotten a person to talk to or the option to leave a message. We would have gotten back with you either that day or the next business day. We don’t have any record of a call or a voice mail from you left with our company. Not sure if you called the right number or not but we are here to answer your questions.
