Those c*m guzzling f*ggots at Eddys Toyota sold me a junk truck from their Rose Garden on Kellogg and Webb. It is a 1998 Ford F150 which they won't fix after I bought the problems to them and they won't negotiate or refund some of the money. Some airhead put ngk spark plugs in a ford engine and they all were rusted and badly worn, the check engine light was burnt out and when replaced the light would stay on. It had a weak clutch and was hard to shift. It was overpriced.

The passenger side window didn't work and the gas tank was empty plus the truck was missing the owners manual and other stuff like the spare tire and jack. This truck needed an oil change, air filter and the tires were down to 5/32nds. The truck with tax and their $299 dealer fee was over $6000 but they wouldn't refund some of the money plus they snuck in a gap policy plus an extended warranty which I declined. The truck is under loan with their bank. Didn't give me a choice but the interest rate is 9.85% because my credit score is 677. That's higher than the 5.8% they said they offer.

Photo of evidence

POSTED: Sunday, September 22, 2013

I have uploaded a photo of the evidence that I found rusted and badly worn spark plugs in the 4.6 liter V8. Their maintainence department failed to replace the bad stuff before putting the truck up for sale. The gap policy and extended warranty was removed after I declined it.

You failed to look out for yourself

As mentioned by two previous commenters, it appears you purchased the vehicle without inspecting or test-driving it first. A 15-year old vehicle with 155,000 miles requires a thorough pre-purchase inspection.

Your complaints about the gap insurance, extended warranty and interest rate imply that you signed the financial agreement without reading it first. That was foolish.

You could have sold your trade-in elsewhere since you were not satisfied with their offer. Your displeasure with the price of the purchase is a case of buyer's remorse. You should have researched the value of the vehicle before the sale.

Your credit history is not the fault of the auto dealer.

Your dissatisfaction with the transaction was avoidable and is totally your fault.

You said that the truck had rusted spark-plugs. There are Toyota dealerships that are notorious for purchasing vehicles that were in floods. Then they clean them up a bit and put them on their lot for sale. Some Toyota dealerships will also purchase vehicles with slight hail damage, and then sell them to unsuspecting customers who may not see the damage when buying the vehicle.

Toyota dealerships (most of them) will lie, cheat, deceive, manipulate, and financially injure as many innocent and unsuspecting customers as possible in order to make their profits. Most Toyota dealerships will include "extended warranties" into customer's contracts without disclosing it to the customer. They mainly target women, the elderly, African Americans, and Hispanics.

Good luck to you, and make sure to spread your Ripoff Report all over the web at sites like Twitter and Facebook!

With an inspection why did you buy that junk. That's right you probably didn't do it. A an inspection would have told you all of those problems before you ran out there and bought you a nice heap of junk.  Who's fault is

THEY SELL JUNK

AUTHOR: Say No Go - ()

Also forgot to mention that they offered $1000 for my trade in which is a Chevy truck that the blue book said was worth $2400 and they wouldn't budge saying the bottom and undercarriage was rusted out in which Chevrolet is at fault for notoriously making vehicles with metal that will spontaneously rust. Their truck I bought was $5400 and the $299 dealers fee is outrageous because in 1997 I bought a used Dodge 150 at Mel Hambleton on North Broadway and the dealers fee was $99, the truck was $3500 and in much better shape than my Ford which cost almost twice. I questioned them about the missing floor mats, spare fire, jack, lug wrench and owners manual but those idiots said that's how they got the truck. I also looked on www.kbb.com for a blue book value is $3436 suggested retail. This is after I bought the truck with 155,000 miles. The obd Ii scanning tool said it needed a cannister purge solenoid which I come to discover the hose from the cannister to the solenoid was deteriorated and also it needs an oxygen sensor which Toyota won't fix. Patrick Mitchell the finance manager jacked up my interest rate and also their manager said the $1289 off coupon cant be used for wholesale cars but earlier when I tried to purchase a 2010 Toyota Tundra at $18,000 then the bank couldn't finance me stating insufficient income for amount of credit requested, we do not grant credit on your terms, and accounts in collection or past delinquencies that were already paid As those were all medical bills my insurance didn't cover. So their finance policies are at fault for me ending up with this Ford F150 that's overpriced.

You bought the truck with NO test drive.  You also didn't read the sales contract YOU signed.

Then, YOU probably bought the truck AS-IS....right?  You also realize the truck is FIFTEEN years old....also right?

That would mean you screwed yourself.
