I was contacted by Mark Roseman who said he got my name from the Diamond Exchange in Toronto, offering a contract to sell my coloured diamonds to Chinese? Interests, through an agent in Hong Kong. Ultimately 3 agents were identified and 2 were rejected, before settling on the third, Jaiolong Sandcastle. I was required to wire 5% of the 2.1 million US (52,500us) for insurance purposes, to be essentially refunded when diamonds were received in Hong Kong. After many phone calls and emails, a copy of my passport was requested, ostensibly to meet Canadian Government requirements. Then, to my surprise a further request for approximately 55.000US was required ostensibly for tax purposes. Notwithstanding the tax free status of Hong Kong. At this point I refused, and was assured that this tax was also refundable. I then requested a copy of the signed contract, a copy of the insurance policy, and a copy of all tax documentation. Eventually a signed contract by Kevin Peters was received. I decided not to pursue this any further, and was assured repeatedly that insurance monies would be refunded in full. This has not occurred, the website has disappeared, THIS INDEED WAS A SCAM, and I believe this scam has previously happened to others, under different company names, and is partially documented in other RipOff reports. I anticipate they will continue to operate under different Company names. If you are contacted by any of these people, especially Mark Roseman or Rizman, do not allow yourself to be SUCKED IN . They seem very credible and legitimate. THEY ARE. NOT!!
