I had purchased 4 of these units, I gave 1 away as a gift to my Grandmother and have recently found out she has not even opened the box yet and the other 3 I kept, 2 smaller units and one of the 2 Lg units.I have only used 1 small  1 in my room this year that has worked fine and the larger 1 in the main living area.

 Approx, 2 weeks ago the larger unit smoked up my whole house while I was in the bath, the entire front is completely melted and caved in. When I came out of the tub I ran the best I could I am legally disabled with a broken back through my  smoke filled house to pull the plug and stop it from going into flames.

I called the company the following day and they insisted the best they would do is replace the brand new unit I purchased with a refurbished unit and they tried to make me pay charges, when I refused to pay those charges and told them what had happened they were willing to waive them and send me a payed return reciept. Well It is 1 week later and today is colder then normal so I opened the other unit up and turned it on, all lights were red looked good I layed down and waited about an hour and it was still cold so I went over to touch it and no air was blowing from it at all! I have never used this unit befor today. I called the company, explained everything from A-Z and they were only willing to replace my units with used ones. Considering my health situation and my bad experience with these units, I believe I am rightfull in being afraid to use them any longer and asked the company to refund me my money for them, they tried giving me the run around and refused.

Thank God I was awake. It took  about a week to get rid of the smell of the burnt plastic / rubber from from my home

They are not safe!
