Fraud, Obstruction, Abuse of Process, Sexual Harassment 

On October 23, 2011, Colorado attorney Edward Dale Parrish was SUSPENDED by the Colorado Supreme Court Attorney Regulation Counsel. Per the Court's suspension notice :

While serving as her attorney, Parrish had sexual relations with a client who was in recovery from drug addiction. His misconduct constituted grounds for the imposition of discipline pursuant to C.R.C.P. 251.5, and violated Colo. RPC 1.7(a)(2), 1.8(j), 1.16(a)(1), and 8.4(h)

Per the Court document, the professing devoutly religious husband (to Denise), father of 3, long time family law and criminal defense lawyer Mr. Edward Dale Parrish sexually preyed on and exploited a mother who was in the most vulnerable position conceivable - seeking protection and representation in a highly contentious separation/divorce (from a drug related felon, in fact). It appears that in exchange for sexual relations with Mr. Parrish and also a La Salle police officer used in the scheme, she obtained the false arrest of her ex-husband and was led to make numerous false allegations to gain advantage in custody, as noted by the Court:

On April 14, 2010, Plaintiff filed for divorce from Ms. ----- , leading to a "bitter" custody battle for ----. Id. ¶ 18. Defendant Parrish represented Ms. ------ in these proceedings and allegedly repeatedly encouraged Ms. ----- "to falsely accuse [Plaintiff] of committing acts of domestic abuse, so as to increase the likelihood that [Ms.] (client) would be granted primary custody" of their son. Id. ¶ 19. Throughout the proceedings, Defendant Parrish "made numerous sexual overtures toward (his female client), including but not limited to repeated incidents of inappropriate touching, and repeated suggestions that she could pay her outstanding legal bill by means other than monetary compensation." Id. ¶ 20.

Fabrication, falsification are crimes. And, more accusations, more agitation, more arrests all equals MORE conflict and more court activity, which means more indebtedness, financial and sexual, to Parrish on the part of this client/mother.

More importantly, Mr. Parrish, as a 25 year veteran of family courts knows $@#$# well that in reality, statistically women claiming abuse more often lose, not gain, custody and being a found to be a FALSE accuser almost certainly means his client losing custody of her very young child as well as increased litigation and court time. The detail of that one case shows Mr. Parrish's narcissistic predatory exploitation of custody litigation, even taking advantage of a mother in crisis and her concern for the welfare of her child.

1. Mr. Parrish, it appears, will go to extreme lengths to increase litigation and court time of his clients for his own financial gain

2. Mr. Parrish will fabricate, tamper, misrepresent claims, documents, info to the Court, to police, to parties ... and if you're his client, or and opposing party, advice: check EVERYTHING he files with everyone, inc dates, references, attachments, and re-check everything he claims
