Edward Humphrey LLC Cashed check for addition, disappeared off the face of the earth Kenilworth New Jersey

I too am a very angry victim of Mr. Edward Humphrey. So much for the Better Business Bureu. I am probably one of his last victims as I just signed the contract with him and gave him a 10,000 deposit just this June. Nothing negative came up when I contacted the BBB. Not until after I received an anonymous phone call giving me the number of the Criminal Justice Department and read the the July 7, 2005 Star Ledger, did I find out how bad it was.

My husband and I both fell for his charm and attention at the first initial meetings. We met with him for over two hours on our first meeting. He came back three times before we signed the contract which is when his attention started to disappear. He did return some calls, but always had the right thing to say.

I did start to worry after that, but just figured that he was a contractor who took on too much and was behind schedule. Then when I called and the numbers were disconnected, I knew I had been beat. What a sociopath. Not a single ounce of conscience to be found. I was originally angry with myself, but at least now I know that I am not alone, as unfortunate as that is.

On the up side, Mr. Humphrey has since been arrested. He is in Morris County Jail with a $500,000.00 bail. At least the judge agreed how dispicable he was and refused to lower his bail. How I wish I knew about this site before I gave him my check. What kills me is how long he has been doing this to people and how long it took the State to stop him.
Hopefully, my family was one of his last victims.
