I too am a victim of the Edward Norman Financial scam. I applied for a unsecured personal loan on their website and the next day was given a call from William Adelson of Edaward Norman Financial, congratulating me on the loan approval. I was told I had to put $500 down for a security deposit then in return will receive $5000 direct deposited into my checking account. All and all, everything looked legit. He gave me instructions on how to send the funds to him through MoneyGram to a person, Anthony Brooks, "red flags". Of course, I asked him why it would not be going directly to his company, and he said that Mr. Brooks was their deposit runner. Now, yes I should have recognize the scam right then and there, but I was stupid and naive to think that no one would be so heartless. I explained to him my financial situation, that I was a struggling single parent. Apparently, that did not matter to him at all because he kept trying even harder to persuade me that their company was legit. At any rate, I sent the money and have not heard anything from them and it has been over a week. He promised to deposit funds into my account within 24 to 48hrs. William Adelson aka Edward Norman Financial, rot in Hell. I hope you all get what's coming to you.
