Efax - J2 Global Communications ripoff Los Angeles California

i signed up with efax late on a sunday night, following the menu and entering credit card info it said i would be charged $12.95 a monthly rate. the next morning when i checked my bank account i had been charged $25.95.

it over drew may bank account so i contacted them immediately (within 12 hours of opening account). i demanded they refund the extra amount as that was not per the amount shown i would be charged. they said could not, i said close my account immediately and refund all. they said they could.

here it is a week later and i was charged an NSF fee of $25. my bank waited two days for them to return money before charging me this. i contacted them again yesterday, they flat refused to contact my bank, or refund the NSF fee but said my money would be processed that night for refund. yet they told me monday they did it that day. lies...

now today i received another note saying they would process my refund in the next 30 days. i believe they deliberately delayed the refund to cause the bank fees because i cancelled. they told me the money would be back yesteday now they say 30 days... RIP OFF...

EFAX IS A TOTAL RIP OFF. the folks who answer the phone can barely speak english and could not understand me, i kept haveing to repeat myself. i want my money back and my NSF fees and i want everyone to know how they deal with complaints. i am also filing with better business bureau and anyone else that i can.
