Let me begin by saying I am mad,pissed at my self and my judgement in selecting the best policy out there by a reputed company without reading reports in several ways efg companies get out off the need to pay claims. I bought a used car , I was going to take Care of it and want to protect my investment so I went for tech choice ultimate coverage. I went for a exclusion coverage policy thinking I would exactly know what is not covered.today I took my car for service and since my car was fishtail ing. dealer found that it was due to 2 bad bushings. I checked my warranty it is not said that it was not covered. Called efg and efg denied the claim,as the dealer told them they are not BMW parts. The previous owner had changed the bushings and this information is neither in car fax report or an ordinary person like me can inspect before buying a car or extented warranty. how am I supposed to know about this,I paid a large sum to purchase this companies policy,still recommending my friends. saying it is a good coverage. If this company is reputable they should cover parts that breaks that are covered.my vehicle is within mileage and it's been 2 years since I started policy. I will have to let my friends know this story tweet it you tube it to create awareness of how this company can screw you holding you responsible for undocumented changes under the hood. I will wait a couple of days and have conversation with this company,after that I will have to alert people of this. If you are in the market for a coverage for used vehicle service contract, make sure the modifications you make are the only responsibility. Since I don't have the money to fix this now I will have to ride with my son fishtail ing and hope and pray I don't get into accident.
