Our company used elavon for credit card processing for several years. This year they wanted to charge us a large fee to upgrade equipment (which we later obtained free from another company). When we canceled our account with less than a month remaining they stuck a $260 fee for "liquidated damages" on top of the monthly charges they continued to charge, even though the account was inactive. they refuse to discuss the matter on the phone or by mail.

Elavon Merchant Services - NOVA Information Systems I upgraded my merchant terminal. It didn't work. I returned it and now I can't get my money back that they took for the terminal!!! Elavon has my money and the terminal! Knoxville, Tennessee
