I signed into contract with this company after checking out references and all complaint sites. This was to be a 3 week job to install a bathroom in the basement, granite countertops and replace the water heater. He showed up for the first 2 weeks and per the contract I paid him the weekly amount. Then on the third week, he didn't show and has only showed up a day or two for the past month. He will not answer my calls, respond to my texts or my emails. I even put a per day penalty in the contract which doesn't seem to phase him. I am contacting every agency to provide a trail so no one has to go thru this with him again. I just want either the job to be finished or a full refund since he doesn't deserve to keep any of the money with the penalty now of over a month.

I just wanted to say I am so sorry this happened to you. I had the misfortune of meeting Aaron Patterson and accepted a job working for him. I was to train to be his assistant and office manager. I am a single mother of two, i researched him the best I could through iowa courts as well as the attorney general's office and still took the job. He met my kids and everything. My first payday came and I got a bad check for half of what I earned, and then nothing at all he will not contact or respond to me. He is a truly heartless person and cares about only himself. He is a wonderful scammer and I feel bad for all those who have had to deal with him. In the short time i worked for him I can't begin to count the lies he told.
