 As long as organized religion has been around, MAN has used it to get rich. I mean do you REALLY think GOD needs OUR money?? WHY would a church pass around a collection plate 3-4 times a sermon? In the middle ages purposfully misinterpreting the bible was BIG business. Travelling religous sideshows showing "relics" and "Religous memoribilia". YOU to could be saved IF you had enough money. Playing on our FEAR has been the religous DOGMA for more years then ANY sane person would consider. To be shocked that its STILL happening only goes to show that in general religion pulled the wool over everyones else has been successful. I personally dont buy into the organized religion model. I personally believe that each of us has their own relationship with our own higher power. Nameing a GOD and makeing a house for that god to be in only lessons that god. It LIMITS them by nameing. Being bamboozled by a preacher is NOT new. Some of the most evil acts have been commited BY ORGANIZED RELIGION and its NEED to get new people to pay into its coffers. MAN is the problem and NOT GOD!!!
