These guys will sucker you with low rent, make you sign a lengthly lease and never follow through with what they promise. They also will start adding fees like Air Conditioner fees when the AC doesn't work and electricity fees. Mailboxes generally broken and mail is stolen often. Poor security in the building.
Good luck getting internet or phone. When I had time warner cable come Eli's dad scarred them and started screaming obscenities at the workers. He screamed"F*** you, F*** you!" Multiple times at the workers. Very improfessional place.
When it rained the top floor massively flooded and destroyed all my desks and computers. Eli laughed when it happened. When I moved out I requested my security deposit back 4 times and he refused to reply. When I threatened legal action he said go ahead. I told him I would file complaints with the California Attorney general and he started saying I threatened him at his cell phone number of (818) 439-2537. I told him I'd serve him at his address of 4709 Noeline Ave, Encino, CA 91436-2105 and he really went balistic via text.
Avoid these scamming slum lords at all costs.

I rented a unit at xx Van Nuys Blvd from these scumlords. I told them multiple times about the rain and water leaks. They didn't fix them and about 30 computers and cell phones were damaged. They laughed. Onee day Eli's Dad comes in and laughed and said he fixed the leak on the roof. I was actally impressed...until I asked how he fixed it... and he said , " oh it stopped raining" and walked off laughing. I threatened a lawsuit as well and he said he didn't care. If you look up these scamsters you'll see they're career criminials and rip off as many people as they can. I'm not going to stop until i get my money back. If you were put in this siutation by these scammers, call me and lets join together to make sure this doesn't ever happen to anyone else ever again. David (((REDACTED)))

Although your complaint is against Eli Zilberstein and Eili Max Realty, the real slum lord behind your problems in Ahron Zilberstein, Eli Zilberstein's father. You made a brief refrence to him yelling obscenities, but that's his good side. Ahron Zilberstein has been perpetrating a mortgage fraud scam on consumers for decades, which includes being a slum lord. Check out the webstie ahronzilberstein.com for a full list of the dozens of lawsuit filed pertaining to Ahron Zilberstein. His piece of s*** son Eli is just following in his footsteps.

Eli Zilbertsein has been nothing but professional and polite to me for years. I currently lease an office form him and I have had NO problems at all.
