I purchased a DiVinci DV-1450 Home Theater System from Joey Choo with Elite Audio Direct/Top shelf audio through Ebay. I had started bidding but I thought something was strange because as soon as I would bid, it would immediately come back that I was outbidded. I waited until the last minute and placed a bid for $300 during the last minute of the bidding time and was immediately informed that I was outbidded. I didnt think anything else about until 30 minutes later I received a message from the seller that the person who outbidded me suddenly couldnt come up with the money and I had a second chance to purchase the speakers for $300. Naturally I was excited, I paid for the system along with $135 to ship from California and when they got here, the system was horrible. The tower speakers sounded like they were blown, the subwoofer didnt even work and the 4 surround speakers that came with it wont even hook up correctly with the system. When I contacted the owner to refund my money and I would pay for shipping, I was told all sales were final and that if it was broke to contact the manufacturer to get it repaired. When contacting the warranty company, we have to pay to have them shipped and tracked and then pay $300 deductible to have them looked at and replaced. That would be a waste as we just paid $300 for the speakers. A word to the wise - STAY AWAY FROM DiVINCI and Joey Choo and or Elite Audio Direct or Top Shelf Audio

I have bought multiple sets of speakers from this ebay seller, he gives a good deal on speakers, at firstt i was a little leary, but i got my speakers 3 days later, told my friends that i got a good deal, and they bought more, the only problem we ever had with him, was a speaker got lost in shipment, he sent another the same day, and ate the loss, top notch guy, IMO

I have bought multiple sets of speakers from Joey and his company and never had an issue. When bidding on ebay you, and everyone else, have the option to select auto bid. This function simply asks you for your maximum bid and then does the work for you. Immediately outbidding other bidders until your maximum bid is exhausted. Please keep these things in mind when you are trying to talk negatively about someone's business.
Also, you purchased a set of speakers for far less than you would have paid retail and the same exact costs are associated with returns as if you had purchased the speakers new in a store. The company (not Joey) has their own return policy outside of Joey's company. Joey and his company dont except returns because the manufacture offers a warranty and repair services. In all of Joey's listings there is an "all sales final" disclosure that you obviously didnt read.
In the future, maybe you need to read all the information on an auction before bidding and trying to win a product for much cheaper than retail price. Getting things cheap doesnt mean you get them free. If there was a problem with the product then the manufacturer is responsible and not Joey and his team.
Im sorry that you cant read, nor understand how a warranty works with high quality equipment. In the future keep these type of comments to yourself and dont go around spreading negative feedback because you dont understand how ebay commerce works!!
***I have always been satisfied with my purchases from Joey and will continue to buy from him in the future!!! I also understand how to bid, and take care of issues from purchases I make from/off ebay.
