I also was scammed by this company. Although Bryan Yamhure's name doesn't pop up in bold print anymore. He has other con artists working the business for him right now. The president/owner of Elite Getaways is now Solomon Arroyo. They actually offer financing through Bank of America. Bank of America was notified that this company was a scam. Not sure what they are doing about it. This company is all over the web, has numerous complaints with the localn PD, BBB, DOACS, FTC, US Postal Inspector, AG, Gov. Crist and media. Beware don't get scammed out of your hard earned money.
Reply to this post if you have been scammed and would be interested in a class action suit.
I'm going to be the squeeky wheel!!!!!!!!!

How many ways can you say SCAM!!! Getaway from Elite Geaways real fast.

WOW!!Who does not need a nice vacation at a cheap price? If it's to good to be true then it is.
Put on your running shoes and run as fast as you can from this SCAM!!
Throw away the invitation from Marriott, they have nothing to do with this company.
My family and I went to check this out and fell for the family deal. Two couples could sign up for the price of one.
I checked out the contract that night and found they added a date on the contract. It was over 2 months back. How do they do that you ask???
Well, after you sign the contract, they make copies and add the date. The sales person comes back into the room and your contract is neatly folded in a nice brouchure. So you don't look again until it's to late... When I confronted Elite Getaway then next day they said the had system proplems. OOPSS that's a big problem.
Catch #1- There is nowhere to date the contract after sign your name so they can add any date they want while making copies... OOOO gotcha there!!!
Catch #2- You do not get your password to view the website unitl 10 days after you sign your contract. Which is way past the 3 days you have to resind. I asked about the 3 days right to cancel and they said yes.. but otherwise it was never mentioned. So by the time you get your password the 3 days are up... and you cannot cancel.....gotacha there again!!!
Catch #3. Be leary of buying any vacation listing from craigslist. People are selling Elite Getaways in hopes of pay off the debt they owe to the company.
To cancel the contract with Elite Getaways you must write a letter and deliver it to them within 3 days.
I went back myself with the letter. That's when the owner's devil's ears came out. He was really pissed off. I kept my cool and told him I have 3 days to cancel and that is my right!! That is what I am going to do. He stormed out and slammed his office door.
We were lucky beacuse they never got their money. We cancelled out checks the next day. We went back and had them release us from this nightmare.
We met a lawyer in the parking lot... He said it was a scam and left.
we met another lady in the parking lot who was almost in tears.. Elite told her she was to late and could not get her money back. Very sad.
Don't go!!!
Don't call them!!
Don't waste your money!!!
If there is anyone with positive feedback, I would love to hear it. Otherwise... run run run and don't look back.
